When asked what game they associate with developer Epic Games, many gamers would immediately jump to the Gears Of War series. Before Gears though, there was the Unreal series, known for its fast-paced and addictive multiplayer. In recent years though, this series has seemingly disappeared with the last major release being Unreal Tournament 3 on the Xbox 360 in 2008. As a series that has always been a staple of the PC gaming market, many gamers have been wishing for a proper new release in the Unreal series....

After finding success in the platforming-mascot era of gaming with the limbless hero Rayman, Ubisoft needed to create new IP’s to stay relevant, as the Xbox and PS2 generation was shifting focus to more realism-centric and mature games. Ubisoft soon found its feet with their Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon series, two shooters with a heavier emphasis on tactical gameplay than the competition. A remastered version of Destroy All Humans! briefly appears on the PlayStation Store for PlayStation 4, and is rumored to have its official launch soon. Bandai Namco announces that Digimon World: Next Order, a well-received spin on the series released in Japan last March, will now be getting a western release. While Pokemon might be the collectible creature game that has dominated western headlines in recent years, Bandai Namco’s Digimon series has been quietly amassing a dedicated, passionate fanbase in its own right. Delving into Doom Eternal’s surprisingly deep lore, the Khan Maykr is the Doom Slayer’s greatest adversary to date; she’s an alien queen who enslaved countless mortal worlds and later attempted to colonize Hell. Doom Eternal’s primary antagonist has fairly simple ambitions, but the circumstances surrounding her lust for immortality are extremely complex. To understand the villainess and her history with the Doom Slayer, one must first understand the Maykr race. An extra-dimensional alien species comparable to Lovecraft’s cosmic horrors, the Maykrs are a hivemind that is rigidly structured by a sort of biological caste system....

From the reveal trailer alone, players now know that the next DLC pack will focus on Future Trunks’ timeline, depicting his struggle as a child after the Androids ravage his world. In this alternate timeline, Goku dies of a heart disease and the rest of the Z Warriors quickly follow suit, leaving a baby Trunks and a Teen Gohan alone to fend for themselves....
