Ubisoft has finally confirmed that Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle does indeed exist and is coming to the Nintendo Switch on August 29th. They revealed it during their E3 conference when they brought Shigeru Miyamoto onto the stage as a surprise guest. It seems that all the rumors and leaks were true: Mario and the Rabbids will be crossing over. A Mario + Rabbids game has been rumored to exist since before the initial Nintendo Switch announcement (back when it was called the NX)....

Following all of the rumors/leaks surrounding an upcoming Fable game, we now know that the title is indeed in the works. Despite the fact that the game is already in development, there was nothing on it during Microsoft’s E3 2019 presentation and it did not tell us why. Fans had probably given up on the Fable series and that was probably fair as it did seem dead. In the run-up to E3, though, rumors began swirling, with Fable 4 being talked up as leaks emerged....

The third DLC character for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the Hero, which is actually four different protagonists from the Dragon Quest series, who all share a name and a move set. The Hero consists of Erdrick from Dragon Quest III: Seeds of Salvation, the protagonist of Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen, the protagonist of Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King, and the Luminary from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age....

EA CEO Andrew Wilson announces that the publisher is “overjoyed” by the performance of DICE-developed shooter Star Wars Battlefront during a quarterly financial conference call. It’s fair to say that Star Wars Battlefront proved to be a little disappointing for many gamers. The title launched in November 2015 with plenty of expectations, but the reboot of the beloved Battlefront series from acclaimed FPS developer DICE failed to quite live up to the hype for many....

Last week, EA found itself embroiled in a scandal after it came to light that at least one company employee had been clandestinely selling FIFA 21 Ultimate Team card packs, which contain incredibly rare cards with low drop rates, for between $1000-2500. On Twitter, #EAGate started trending as news began to spread about this questionable activity and many gamers, particularly those who had spent large amounts of money trying to obtain these rare FUT cards the officially sanctioned way, spoke out in anger....

EA Sports just released a new trailer for UFC 4 detailing a bunch of new updates and improvements to the combat sport simulator, including new technology to amplify the impact of big hits. UFC 4 marks the return to innovation from the series. While UFC itself is focused on bringing mix martial arts to private islands, EA Sports is focused on bringing a whole new revamped game play system to UFC 4....

US-based EA will challenge Take-Two Interactive over its bid for Codemasters, the studio behind the Dirt and F1 series. It was just last month in November that Codemasters announced they had been approached by Take-Two Interactive for acquisition, in a deal valued around $994 million. The stock and cash deal was expected to close in early 2021 and Codemasters would begin operations under the 2k label with existing leadership. The value of EA’s current offer is still unknown, and they’ve come in at the final minute of the last hour to stop the deal between Codemasters and Take-Two Interactive from proceeding....

Following up on the job posting leak from last week, Epic Games’ Tim Sweeney has confirmed the developer is working on an unannounced triple-A shooter. That’s in addition to the PC-online, survival title Fortnite and several smaller projects. As far as the shooter is concerned, Sweeney wouldn’t say much, but we know from the leaked job posting that the title has some sort of online focus and . Our guess is that the shooter, like many Epic Games releases, has a deep multiplayer component....

Halo 3 has gone down in history as one of the finest games ever. Bethesda releases an update to the Survival Mode of action RPG Fallout 4, bringing with it a number of changes including some new survival features and gameplay fixes. Although Fallout 4 has made a huge impression on the world of gaming since its release in November of last year, some users were looking for something a little more challenging from the title. Thankfully, Bethesda was more than willing to work on a Survival Mode for the game, adding in a level of realism with relation to hunger and disease....

Fallout 76 just received its biggest update yet, and no matter your feelings on the game, there’s no doubt about it; this update is a doozy. NPC’s are coming into the Wasteland for the first time, and with them, the game just got a lot more like Fallout. Tons of content has been added, there are a plethora of new characters to meet, and the Wasteland is never going to be the same....
