The tabletop RPG Wicked Ones currently has its core book free of any price tag, thanks to the designer’s initiative to attract more players. The RPG was mostly funded by its successful Kickstarter campaign, and the creator Ben Nielson recently explained why the game is now free - even though supporters previously paid for it. Released through Nielson’s studio Bandit Camp, Wicked Ones received the necessary funding it needed back in June 2019, where all of the campaign backers received a copy of the core book....

A television adaptation of the critically acclaimed, genre-defying detective RPG Disco Elysium is in the works. Disco Elysium developer ZA/UM is teaming with dj2 Entertainment, the production company behind the crowd-pleasing Sonic the Hedgehog movie, to bring the city of Revachol to the small screen. Horror fans just got a major treat from The Game Awards 2020, after a world premiere trailer showcased Evil Dead: The Game is coming sometime next year. Bethesda Softworks officially announces the release of the soundtrack for its post-apocalyptic RPG, Fallout 4, on a set of limited edition vinyl records. Those Fallout 4 fans who enjoy the open world title’s theme song and stirring score by composer Inon Zur that wish to own the original soundtrack in a physical collection of some kind are now in luck. As it happens, the game publisher and developer Bethesda is pressing a limited edition run of the action-RPG’s score on vinyl albums for Fallout 4 fans, and it is available for pre-order today....

Fallout 76 is due to be released soon, and so Bethesda has begun to go through all the pre-release promotional actions that generally comes with releasing a new game. One such action seems to be a newly announced competition that will see one lucky Fallout fan walk away with their very own real-life Pip-Boy. Announced on the Fallout 76 Twitter account, the competition will run from October 28-29. It follows rather standard social media contest requirements in that fans need to follow the account and retweet the tweet in order to stand a chance to win....

Although the game was released in the twilight years of the last console generation, The Last of Us is seen as one of the standout games of the PS3. A creative Overwatch fan has put together a personal arcade cabinet capable of running Overwatch. The bespoke machine uses a joystick and button configuration designed to mimic how D.Va controls her iconic mech.
