If you did stick with it to the end, though, the final episode revealed that the mysterious School Governors at Susan’s old stomping ground were, in reality, Weeping Angels. Creator Patrick Ness was intending to script an angelic “civil war” if a second series had gotten the go-ahead, which indicates just how tempting a prospect the Angels can be to a writer – every showrunner wants a chance to tackle the Lonely Assassins....
New concept art for Dragon Age 4 was revealed on the first night of Gamescom 2020. This included an image of Solas that appeared to confirm one big thing many fans had suspected about the Dread Wolf’s role in the new game. In Dragon Age: Inquisition, players saw the spirit of the old god Urthemiel and the power of the Anchor transfer through several characters, but it remained somewhat ambiguous which character had ultimately gained control of either, if it existed within the story (like Urthemiel)....

Several Reddit users who responded to a new D&D consumer survey claimed to see a video showing off a new virtual tabletop software. Many describe the platform as being just like D&D Beyond, with the addition of a 3D-rendered tabletop. Others said that this new product is due this November....

The Epic Games Store has thrived as a digital storefront despite coming into the game well after Valve’s Steam rose to prominence, and two business practices are in-part responsible. First is the storefront’s practice of giving away free games on a regular basis, with Epic Games Store users claiming nearly 750,000 games in 2020. A more controversial practice is Epic Games getting the exclusive rights to different titles. While the juggernaut battle royale Fortnite is exclusively available on the Epic Games Store for PC players due to it being developed by Epic Games, over 100 additional titles have at one point or another been exclusive to the storefront, according to estimates by PC Gamer’s Tyler Wilde....
The Escapists was an addictive strategy RPG with a straightforward goal: escape prison. Taking much of what worked in the original game, the sequel took the concept and added far more depth. Fun is hardly ever on short supply when playing The Escapists. If you were looking forward to a sequel for The Escapists 2, then you might love to hear that The Escapists 3… is not coming out anytime soon....
Esports tournament organizer ESL has announced their decision to transform the upcoming ESL One Los Angeles and Birmingham Dota 2 events into online tournaments. The ESL One Los Angeles Major was postponed earlier this month due to the coronavirus pandemic, while the Birmingham event was set to go on in May. Both events will now be split into regional online leagues. ESL One Los Angeles was meant to be the third Major of the 2019-20 Dota Pro Circuit, running from March 15-22nd with $1,000,000 and 15,000 DPC points on offer....

A talented Half-Life: Alyx player has created a mod for the game which transports Alyx to the dingy depths of BioShock’s Rapture on a unique mission. This has to be one of the coolest things you’ll see today. Wim Buytaert recently created this mod, which is now available for free via the Steam Workshop (obviously you’ll first need the base Half-Life: Alyx VR game, though). It’s apparently pretty short unfortunately - only about half an hour long - but Buytaert has confirmed that a second level “and more” are on the horizon....
