The Facebook page for Domino’s Pizza Malaysia is using the controversy surrounding Blizzard’s now-infamous Diablo Immortal reveal as the centerpiece for their latest promotion. In a recent post, Domino’s makes a slew of not-so-subtle references to Blizzard’s disastrous announcement of an upcoming Diablo mobile game....

At San Diego Comic-Con this year, Maze Theory, Oculus, and BBC studios teamed up to showcase a demo of the upcoming virtual reality game Doctor Who: The Edge of Time. The sneak peek demonstrated part of the opening level of the feature-length game, including the voice work of current Doctor Jodie Whittaker. The level opens with the Doctor’s voice coming over the radio, warning that the hydrorks, the new monster created for The Edge of Time, are only a few minutes away from breaking down the door behind you and catching you....

You have to admire id Software’s drive and vision for DOOM, they managed to honor the granddaddy of all shooter games and revive it with a spectacular reboot. DOOM Eternal is definitely up there with the best entries in the franchise and has managed to outdo DOOM (2016) in most aspects, including demon design. The result? A more horrifying roster of demonic baddies to slay, all of whom can slay Doomguy just as easily....

id Software and Bethesda are lining up a one-two punch of multiplayer DLC, launch Free Update 2 tomorrow and Season Pass DLC ‘Unto the Evil’ next week. Although it may feel like Doom just came out, id Software and Bethesda are actually celebrating the game being available almost almost two and a half months now. Perhaps it feels so recent due to the developers’ focus on putting out so much post-launch content....

Indeed, political movements and lawsuits pertaining to games and hardware are par for the course, but reporting on recent campaign happenings with the current batch of participants in the United States presidential election isn’t something we had ever planned on covering – but Republican candidate Donald Trump has allowed the site to do just that in the wake of recent events....

Few games have developers as intimately connected with their players as EVE Online, the spacefaring MMORPG with a literally galactic scale. Developer CCP Games endorsed a major space battle for a terminally-ill player that had over 2,000 people taking part last month, and earlier this week it created a permanent monument to mark the site of a graveyard project started by a fan in 2007. EVE Online player Azia Burgi began collecting corpses from destroyed ships in-game because, “It was just something nobody else seemed to be doing, so I thought I’d have a go and see what happened,” according to a 2017 interview with PC Gamer....

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has been out for less than a month, but given the incredible popularity it has amassed in that short time, it seems safe to say that Developer Digital and Mediatonic’s goofy game-show battle royale is here to stay. It also helps that they’re now teasing what’s to come in the next season. Like all major battle royale games these days, Fall Guys has tied all of its mini-games and cosmetic rewards in a seasonal structure....

Fall Guys has seen massive success since launching on PS4 and PC last summer, especially since it was available for free for subscribers of PlayStation Plus. The multiplayer battle royale party game is in the middle of its third season, and it’s appropriately winter-themed. Mediatonic is about to release a season 3.5 update very soon and one of the features that it’s adding comes straight from Super Mario 64… kind of....

Fallout 4 introduces vertibirds to general gameplay in a big way, although they seem to have a penchant for crashing at the slightest hint of damage, or in some case, for no reason at all. By now, gamers have had plenty of time to explore the greater Boston area in Fallout 4, a land full of emotional stories and countless Easter Eggs. The wasteland can truly be a gorgeous place, and while the game engine certainly has its own quirks, the general reaction to Fallout 4 has been insanely positive....

With one month until the release of Fallout 76, many fans of the franchise are likely eager to get their hands on it. After the stress test that was just hosted for Xbox One players, it’s likely even more are on the hype train now, but it seems Bethesda still needs to dot some I’s and cross some T’s for the online multiplayer game. Transformers: Fall of Cybertron has only been in the hands of players (read our review) for a few weeks and already, new content from High Moon Studios is available for download. Part of the appeal of the War for Cybertron sequel was the improved multiplayer features, specifically the fleshed out customization system which allows players to build their own Cybetronian warrior using tech powers and components from different types of characters....

Dishonored 2’s level designer Christophe Carrier reveals Arkane Studios is “thinking about” Dishonored VR, but the virtual reality title wouldn’t be a port of the original games. Dishonored 2, the sequel to Arkane Studios’ hit stealth title, is one ambitious game. For starters, it features two playable lead characters (Emily Kaldwin and Corvo Attano) who each have different supernatural powers to play with. The game also requires multiple playthroughs to be fully understood, and Arkane Studios has even designed the entire thing so that players can complete the game without killing anyone....

After debuting moody Marvel hero Moon Knight at the tail end of March, Disney+ is taking a bit of a breather in April. On Disney+’s list of new releases this month, you won’t find any major Pixar, Star Wars, or Marvel (save for the continuing episodes of the aforementioned Moon Knight) releases. Instead, you’ll find something perhaps more valuable: BEARS. Earth Day falls on April 22 this year and Disney+ is celebrating with four major nature documentaries....

Disney is helping kids learn to code through interactive lessons, games, and some favorite animated friends with Disney Codeillusion. This online learning community was created by Yoshihisa Hashimoto, the game developer best known for his work on Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy XIV. Disney Codeillusion is designed with coders of all ages in mind. The lessons are set up to make learning code and retaining all of that information easy. The Disney Codeillusion curriculum emphasizes rewards for learning the lessons, commemorative post cards, a Magic Book, and extra mystery puzzle are all real world perks that are means to incentivize learning....

The BBC recently announced Jodie Whitaker, along with current showrunner Chris Chibnall, will be departing Doctor Who. Their departure will occur after Season 12 premieres later in 2021 plus three specials to air during 2022.
