Today is a big day for fans of Bungie’s popular RPG/shooter hybrid Destiny. Update 2.0 for the game is currently available, and fan excitement over the patch, which paves the way for The Taken King expansion, has resulted in Bungie’s website crashing from the overwhelming traffic. While Destiny fans are extremely excited about what the future holds for the game, it’s also been a bit plagued by issues from its past lately thanks to a lawsuit by a disgruntled former Bungie employee....
Bungie previews the majority of changes coming to Destiny’s weapons and subclasses in the game’s next patch, which will rebalance a number of top-tier PvP weapons. Major Weapon Changes Magnetism and aim assist are turned off when firing from the hip, pushing players to ADS to be most effective. In-air accuracy is greatly reduced. Precision damage has been removed. The Chaperone and Universal Remote exotics are excluded from his change. To offset removal of shotgun precision damage, they get a 20% damage buff in PvE....
Destruction AllStars is now available for free for subscribers of PS Plus on PS5 and throws players into multiple online game modes with up to 16 players. As of the time of writing, there are only four multiplayer game modes for players to choose from, with two of them being team-oriented. Carnado requires players to collect gears by smashing into opponents and then taking those gears and storing them into the team bank by driving their car into the middle of the arena....

Disney is reportedly suspending production of physical 4K Blu-ray discs for most live-action films in its extensive library. With the exception of high-profile new releases, animated films, and new entries in the Star Wars or Marvel franchises, the house of mouse has no plans to release non-digital versions in the highest resolution available to consumers. The report, which has not been confirmed by Disney, comes just after the studio reported a drop in revenue in its home entertainment business for Q3 2020 when compared to the same time period the previous year....
Those who were watching CGI animated films around fifteen years ago may remember a charming little film called Chicken Little. The fact that Christopher Eccleston is doing more Doctor Who for Big Finish productions, is exciting stuff. Considering Eccleston had a mixed time on Doctor Who – loving the character and the response of the younger audience especially, but playing the part while ill and disagreeing with the production team – it is also unexpected. The Elder Scrolls Online added a staggering 3 million new players in 2020, Bethesda announced today during its roundtable with Xbox. That brings the lifetime player count of ESO to over 18 million.
