Disney has all but put the final nail in the coffin for 2020’s movie lineup, after the company pulled its two remaining titles, planned for December, without yet announcing a new release date. DOOM Eternal is the latest game in a long-running franchise that helped to define the first-person shooter genre as it’s known today. Though that recent id Software title saw review bombing for controversial anti-cheat software that has been reversed, the series’ legacy has certainly not been tarnished. Fans continue to show their love for the original DOOM titles, which have gone on to receive dedicated modding scenes. One such mod that released features a collection of 10 maps designed for the 24th installment in a community series called Doomer Boards Projects (DBP) with a rather odd theme: The 1987 Mel Brooks satire Spaceballs....
Dragon Age 4 has kept a lot close to its chest, but Gamescom footage gave players a glimpse at the development and thought behind it. A lot of concept art was shown, including for what appears to be a fully powered Solas, but one of the more interesting showed a big first for the franchise. That is, one piece of Dragon Age 4 concept art showed some characters under water. As seen below, it appears to be Dorian and an unknown individual swimming after a woman with a dagger....
Vivienne, a.k.a. Madame de Fer, is an Orlesian mage companion introduced in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Through her, players got to know more about the higher class of Orlais, as well as get another perspective on mage rights. Madame Vivienne was quite different from previous mages like Morrigan, Anders, and Merrill in the fact that she is quite pro-Circle. This made her a little controversial among players as many have previously sided with the rebel mages in the Mage-Templar war....
Akira Toriyama’s Dragon Ball has always featured powerful heroes and villains, with the bar being raised continually throughout the story. With each arc, new challenges would appear, and it forced Goku and company to continually push themselves beyond their limits. What started out as a simple martial arts manga became something more. With the introduction of multiverses in Super fans once again saw the bar raised to ridiculous levels. With the revelation of there being 12 different universes also came the realization that stronger fighters existed outside of Goku and friends....

During today’s Microsoft E3 2015 Press Conference, gamers finally got another look at Cuphead, which now has a release window set for 2016 on both Xbox One and PC. The new one-minute trailer showed plenty of new gameplay scenes and enemies, all of which showed off a highly-stylized “Steamboat Willie” look, bobbing along to an unheard rhythm in the middle of gameplay....
Electronic Arts and PopCap’s Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 presentation and demo didn’t do much to appeal to new players - and why should it? Over the past year and a half, the original Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare has racked up over two millions sales and gathered a collection of positive (if reserved) reviews. Boon’s trolling started innocently enough, with the creative director of Mortal Kombat 11, commenting on the recent price hike of Youtube TV. Animal Crossing: New Horizons has some odd ducks, but none of them may be as peculiar as the chicken Egbert. He’s a fellow villager whose moods tends to jump around a little too fast for players comfort. Most of the time he’s sad or nervous about something. Epic boss Tim Sweeney says it’s Valve’s fault that Shenmue III Kickstarter backers aren’t getting their promised Steam keys. The latest game to fall to Epic’s machinations is Shenmue III, the latest and long-awaited installment to the Shenmue franchise. After a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised the most funds for any video game project at the time, developer Ys Net and publisher Deep Silver promised backers a Steam release by December of 2017....
Boss battles have always been an excellent element of the Paper Mario series. Despite a drastic change in the combat, this fact still rings true in Paper Mario: The Origami King.
