Today, it appears the latest piece of news to fall through the cracks of the convention concern Ubisoft’s upcoming sequel The Division 2, giving fans at not only some interesting new weapons but also a possible setting for the game. An image has leaked showing what appears to be promotional material for The Division 2 hung at the L....

Avid Disney fans and collectors alike have had quite a few announcements to salivate over in recent weeks courtesy of Disney Infinity 2.0 and its many new interactive figures. The latest pair of toys confirmed for use in the game’s Toy Box mode were Aladdin and Jasmine, and now they’ll be joined by the likes of one of Disney’s most iconic characters. None other than Donald Duck is set to make his debut in Disney Infinity 2....

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is slowly starting to roll out more and more details about its upcoming DLC 3, and the latest shows new screenshots of both Future Gohan and Future Trunks. From the looks of it, Future Gohan is doing battle against the Androids, as 17 and 18 will be the primary antagonists in this DLC. In another image, a young Future Trunks looks over a decrepit city, the haunting image of a destroyed Capsule Corp looming in the background....

Electronic Arts has officially acquired Respawn Entertainment, the developer responsible for the Titanfall franchise. The acquisition will see EA paying $151 million for the initial purchase of Respawn as well as additional equity depending on certain terms. While there were some questions recently about whether Electronic Arts was happy with Respawn’s contributions to the Titanfall franchise, this acquisition seems to put those concerns to rest. Despite strong reviews and a positive reception from gamers, Titanfall 2 failed to meet expectations sales-wise, but a bad release date is arguably to blame for those struggles....

Sources speaking with Bloomberg said that EA will be holding meetings this week to decide the ultimate fate of Anthem. The game was essentially mothballed after an exceptionally rough launch, with everything from game-breaking bugs to broken core systems that provided players with little incentive to keep looting or shooting in the sci-fi looter shooter. BioWare set about redesigning the game last February and has spent much of the past year trying to convince us of a No Man’s Sky-style relaunch with a completely overhauled game....

If ever there were a cult-classic in Nintendo’s library, EarthBound is the one. A series that began in Japan exclusively, EarthBound (also known as Mother 2) released in 1995 on the Super Nintendo in North America without a whole lot of fanfare. But thanks to Ness’s appearance in Super Smash Bros, Virtual Console on the Wii, and a curious Nintendo fan base, the game has turned into a fan-favorite. Now, EarthBound is about to release a vinyl soundtrack, as the music is one of the more memorable aspects of the game....

Edgar Wright, best known for directing all three entries in the Three Flavors Cornetto Trilogy, has signed on to direct a new adaptation of Stephen King’s 1982 dystopian novel The Running Man. Wright is currently reworking the story with his Scott Pilgrim vs. the World co-writer Michael Bacall, who will then flesh it out into a full script. Originally published under King’s sci-fi pseudonym Richard Bachman, The Running Man was previously adapted in 1987 by director Paul Michael Glaser with Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead role....

Epic Games co-founder, Tim Sweeney, verbally attacks Microsoft’s business plans for their Universal Windows Platform initiative over what he sees as an anti-developer platform. Microsoft certainly sent waves throughout the gaming industry after announcing its plans to unify the Xbox One and Windows 10 platforms. Everyone’s favourite slasher franchise has a new lease of life following the success of the 2022 “requel”. While we had a massive eleven-year gap between the third and fourth entries in the series, as well as the fourth and fifth - we shouldn’t have long to wait for the next film at all. The fifth Scream movie, simply called Scream, was released in January 2022 and, after a successful box-office run, the sixth movie (stylised as Scream VI) was greenlit in February....

Evil Genius 2: World Domination is an upcoming “lair builder” that encourages players to exercise their nefarious tendencies by building a secret base and taking over the world with a doomsday machine. There is a lot of depth to this strategy/base-building game, with multiple evil masterminds to play as, various specialty tech trees to work through, well-rounded building mechanics, and swarms of minions to train. Flaming Fowl, the team of developers comprised of former Lionhead Studios employees, announces the cancellation of the Fable Fortune Kickstarter campaign. After Lionhead Studios closed down, many feared that the studio’s closure also marked the demise of the Fable franchise in general. Some hope was restored when Fable Fortune, a collectible card game based on characters from the Fable universe, was announced with a Kickstarter campaign. However, developer Flaming Fowl has announced that the Kickstarter campaign for the game has been cancelled, nearly £200,000 shy of its ambitious £250,000 funding goal....

Though an actual ninja skin already existing in the large cosmetic lineup of Fall Guys, a costume based on popular streamer and celebrity Tyler “Ninja” Blevins is being added to the game as well. Starting tomorrow, Fall Guys players will be able to don the special outfit as they compete against other beans for the game’s coveted crowns. This is not the first time Ninja has been given a skin in one of the video games he plays, as the popular streamer was given a special design in Fortnite early this year....

More than one year ago, when Mediatonic first revealed its plan to change the battle royale genre, Fall Guys looked like a neat game that would be fun to play. New Blood Interactive, the indie studio that just cannot seem to make a bad game, has announced that its latest project will be the first-person brawler Fallen Aces. A comic-style adventure set in what looks like the 1940s, you’ll be punching and kicking gangsters in an environment that seems ripped straight from the pages of a comic book. Revealed during Realms Deep 2020 today, a short trailer showed off some combat that looks very reminiscent of Condemned: Criminal Origins....
