One of The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind’s biggest mods just received a major patch, updating it to version 5.2. Morrowind Rebirth is a total overhaul mod, meaning that it significantly alters the game’s visuals and gameplay in order to create an altogether new experience. 5.2 of Morrowind Rebirth specifically overhauls the Morrowind areas of Gnisis and Seyda Neen, among other major changes. The mining town of Gnisis gets a visual overhaul in Morrowind Rebirth version 5....

In all of its popularity, Fortnite always seems to be making headlines, but this time it’s because of a bug affecting shotgun critical damage. Fortnite players have taken to Reddit to bring attention to a crippling bug that causes shotguns not to register critical damage. Epic Games’ dev team has since responded, saying that they are currently investigating the issue, but it’s unclear how long it may take to fix. Some would argue that shotguns have been inconsistent for a long time, and so this is nothing new....

The concern about Twitch in Europe stems from a new set of copyright rules called the “European Union Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market” which is being considered by countries within the European Union. Within this directive, there is a section called “Article 13” which has been dubbed as the “meme tax” by some. It would require platforms that host user-generated content (including Twitch and YouTube) to “ensure that unauthorised protected works or other subject matter are not available on their services....

Bethesda Game Studios confirms over Twitter that the next major title update for Fallout 4 includes support for the recently released PlayStation 4 Pro console. Things are starting to look up for the PlayStation 4 version of Fallout 4 after a bout of controversy these past couple of months. Nintendo has been on a rampage when it comes to getting on its fans’ nerves. In the last few weeks, the company issued a cease and desist order to The Big House, a Smash Bros. tournament, for using an unofficial third party mod. Nintendo then went on to cancel its own Splatoon 2 tournament as players changed their team names in support of the Big House tournament. As spotted by Screenrant, Nintendo has now gone on a spree of taking down soundtracks of their most popular classic games from YouTube, and has not given any reason for doing so....

Far Cry 6’s protagonist, Dani Rojas, was revealed during Ubisoft Forward last year. They are a native of the game’s setting, the fictional Caribbean island of Yara, who will get involved in the revolution against Anton Castillo, the nation’s dictator played by Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito. There is one obvious twist that Ubisoft will need to avoid when crafting Far Cry 6’s story, however. It’s a twist that has been used in several other games, including previous installments in the Far Cry series....

First revealed at the 2019 Game Awards, Fast and Furious Crossroads has finally released, with a fairly negative response on PC due to the game missing a critical feature. While the movie tie-in title has also released on console, reviews haven’t quite come in yet, so the best idea players have of the game’s quality comes from the player reviews on Steam. After being delayed due to coronavirus from its original release window in May, Fast and Furious Crossroads eventually released on August 7th to consoles and PC....

The original Deus Ex became a cult hit when it released in 2000, directed by industry legend Warren Spector and inspiring countless games that came later, from BioShock to Bethesda’s modern Fallout series.
