Horror games are back in vogue. Developers for Bungie’s action-MMO Destiny reveal an exclusive weapon for the sci-fi shooter that will only be available to fans on PlayStation platforms. According to a tweet from the official PlayStation Twitter account, fans who play Destiny on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 soon be receiving a new Exotic gun called the Zen Meteor sniper rifle. As it happens, the weapon will be available for Guardians in less than two weeks on April 12, 2016, which coincides with the month’s major update for the game, labelled as Patch 2....

In 2019, Red Candle Games released the horror game Devotion, which earned relatively positive reviews from fans of the genre. Unfortunately, Devotion’s shelf-life was short-lived. It wouldn’t be a new DiRT installment without a soundtrack comprised of relatively recent music. Publisher Codemasters has unveiled the official tracklisting for the upcoming DiRT 5 and it’s the expected mixture of Rock, EDM, and Modern Pop. Mobile adventure game Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins has a brand-new teaser trailer featuring one of Doctor Who’s most terrifying monsters: the Weeping Angels. At the same time, digital entertainment studio Maze Theory revealed the game is set to launch on March 19. Doctor Who: The Lonely Assassins takes place in the aftermath of Blink, an episode from series three of the television show starring David Tennant. In the episode, the tenth doctor traps the Weeping Angels in the basement of Wester Drumlins; however, in the new teaser, the angels are back and more dangerous as ever....

It’s hard to imagine other actors filling the role of your beloved characters. When it comes to The Lord of the Rings, Peter Jackson’s casting was flawless, but Aragorn’s boots were not originally filled by Viggo Mortensen and that drastic casting change has finally been aired. Aragorn, or Strider as he was called in The Fellowship of the Ring, is perfectly portrayed by American actor Viggo Mortensen, and it’s hard to imagine anyone else transitioning from Ranger of the North to King of Gondor....

Earlier this week, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot fans got some surprising news regarding the upcoming DLC. A previous leak of Beerus’ tree suggested that the DLC would be adapting the full Gods of the Universe story arc, but as it turns out, the DLC is really watering down these events, blurring the line between the Z saga and Super saga’s adaptations of events. Simply put, instead of a story, players will be able to “train” with Whis in order to unlock Super Saiyan God, fight Beerus in a manner not unlike Bonyu, and unlock new skills....

Drago Ball Z: Kakarot has been out for almost a year and has released two DLC packs so far. The game is a single-player RPG that follows the story of the Saiyan Kakarot, also known as Goku. The main game follows the first three arcs from the anime, with the DLC packs extending the story into that of Dragon Ball Super. Missing from the game so far is any content from Dragon Ball GT, the now alternate-timeline story that initially followed DBZ before series creator Akira Toriyama returned to create Super....

Dying Light 2 won’t be coming to the Nintendo Switch, but users of the device won’t be completely ignored by Techland, as the company’s CTO has said that there might be a surprise for the console later this year.
