For years, fans of Fallout New Vegas have been clamoring for a remake or remaster of the well-loved post-apocalyptic first-person RPG developed by Obsidian Entertainment. The game, released in 2010, could probably benefit from a current gen visual upgrade. A modder named Kuzja80 has given players the next best thing for the game: an upscaled HD texture pack. The 16-gig release promises to make the quality of almost all of Fallout New Vegas’ original textures four times better by improving alpha channels, upscaling normal maps, and providing seamless textures....

There are only three days left until Guardians get their first taste of Destiny: The Taken King, and it’s safe to say fans are ready to jump into the fray as soon as possible. In anticipation of the expansion’s release, Bungie has overhauled the sci-fi MMO with a bevy of changes in their Update 2.0 patch this week, much to many players’ delights. For instance, Year 2 contains weapon balance alterations, a highly vaunted raid known as King’s Fall, new sword based gameplay, and tons more....

Destiny 2 is practically here, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t stories about Destiny 1 still worth talking about. This one comes from the early days of Destiny, when it was still in development at Bungie before anyone outside the company had seen it. According to one of the veteran members of Bungie who helped birth the idea for Destiny, the game originally was going to be very similar to Overwatch....

Three previous PlayStation exclusives – Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, and Heavy Rain – are now coming to PC via the Epic Games Store. The exclusivity war has taken a strange turn during GDC 2019, with Google entering the video game market and Microsoft and Nintendo forming an agreement that has allowed Cuphead to appear on the Switch. PlayStation has taken a loss, as three titles that were previously exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 are now coming to PC through the Epic Games Store....

While much remains unknown about Diablo 4, there is a constant conversation over one of the biggest aspects of the game: its launch classes. Many fans are hoping to see something new in Diablo 4, while others are demanding some of the most classic classes. For many RPG fans, Divinity: Original Sin 2 is right up there with Baldur’s Gate and even Planescape Torment as the best of the genre. The current Elite Task Force – or ETF as it’s better known – for Tom Clancy’s The Division is still in full swing, and gamers are anxiously awaiting updates from ETF attendees about what’s coming to the open-world shooter. Fortunately, one ETF member revealed a bit of information that has many in The Division community cautiously excited: there’s new content coming. Doom is one of the most energetic and gory franchises on the market and developer Bethesda Softworks looks to be upping the ante with DOOM Eternal, which was announced during their E3 2018 press conference. The developer showed off some all-new gameplay today during their QuakeCon Keynote. Note: The gameplay footage begins around the 50:14 mark. The demo starts off in the tight corridors of some facility, which is reminiscent of the pre-Hell levels from the 2016 reboot....

Dr Disrespect is no stranger to controversy. The streamer, whose real name is Guy Beahm, was banned from both Twitch and E3 earlier this week for live-streaming from inside a public restroom at the Los Angeles convention. On Friday, Beahm uploaded a video recap from his time at E3. Despite a description of “mishaps leads to recaps,” the compilation only briefly touches on the banning incident. The 10-minute video mostly features footage of Doc being asked to take selfies with fans while simultaneously railing against mobile games....

When it comes to going all in on entertainment, Guy “Dr Disrespect” Beahm has shown that he is committed to his larger-than-life character, “The Doc.” His brand is not for everyone, and some aspects of his character may have led to his ban from Twitch last year. But Dr Disrespect is about entertainment, in the same way a WWE wrestler mugs for the camera, so too does The Doc. To get his chat going on a recent stream, Doc decided to shock his audience with a new bald look....

Although Dragon Ball FighterZ had a highly successful launch, it isn’t doing so well on PC at the moment. Considering the PC player base is down 80%, many gamers may be waiting for various updates to the 2.5D fighting game before returning. However, it seems unlikely that these gamers were waiting on, or even expecting, a Patrick Star mod for the game. With the game’s fighting roster composed of various franchise heroes and villains, Dragon Ball FighterZ isn’t exactly lacking in the diversity department....

With the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S just a week away from launch, EA is revealing plans for bringing its latest titles to next-gen consoles. When Electronic Arts (EA) announced on Tuesday that Visceral Games was closing its doors for good, and that the studio’s in-development Star Wars project had been delayed and passed on to a different Vancouver-based studio, game lovers were understandably disappointed. But the news has had a ripple effect, inciting the same response in investors who grew concerned when they noticed that EA’s stock shares had dropped following the official announcement....

E3’s broadcast schedule is up, and Bandai Namco will hold their presentation on Tuesday, June 15 at 2:25 PM PST. That’s the last day of E3, giving the publisher some notoriety. They’ll slot in just ahead of Yooreka Studio’s five-minute presentation, which comes just before Gamespot’s Play For All Showcase, and then E3 closes out with its inaugural Official Game Awards ceremony at 4:45 PM. All eyes are looking to Bandai Namco to bring some news on Elden Ring, the upcoming game collab between Souls maker FromSoftware and Game of Thrones author George R....

Every week, Epic Games add a new game to its list of free titles. This list updates every Thursday, and often makes award winning titles free for customers.
