Update: Due to fan outcry, the collector’s edition will now be available for PC in the US. In not so great Cyberpunk 2077 news, CD Projekt RED has confirmed that the collector’s edition will not be available in the U.S. for PC, meaning PC gamers who want to purchase the game in said region will not be able to get their hands on items such as an action figure of V, an artbook, and a map of Night City, where the game is set....

Although Xbox’s conference is the main event tonight, Bethesda still has some announcements of its own to bring to the big stage. Last year, the company surprised everyone by sharing tiny glimpses of two games that are assumed to be far away from actual releases. Fans are returning for E3 2019 to see if any substantial progress has been made on those titles. It seems incredibly unlikely that Bethesda will be ready to shift focus to Elder Scrolls 6 or Starfield in a big way this year, but it will be exciting to see if we get a closer look at either of those titles....

The Elder Scrolls Online: Console Enhanced – Bethesda’s official name for the MMO’s next-gen update – is coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on June 8. Anyone who currently owns ESO on PS4 or Xbox One will receive free access to the Console Enhanced edition, which features several graphical improvements and a jump to 60fps. News of the next-gen update arrived during today’s Blackwood Chapter Preview Event, which provided a closer look at all the content arriving in June....

The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim is one of Bethesda’s most popular games, and the developer clearly knows it based on the number of re-releases it has gotten since 2011. A mod creator named Mihail uploaded the file for a new Skyrim creature based on Dungeons and Dragons’ famous Gelatinous Cube to the Nexus Mod forum Wednesday....

Although Felix “Pewdiepie” Kjellberg remains a contentious figure in the world of YouTube, his popularity is massive, and that influence has now led to having Elon Musk host an episode in his popular Meme Review series. The Tesla and SpaceX CEO was also joined by a co-creator of Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland. For context, Pewdiepie’s fans clamored to have Musk host the YouTube show for months. Back in October, Musk confirmed that he would host the show, but no one actually believed it to be true until February 1, 2019....

Ray tracing is considered the elite treatment that plenty of upcoming games are including in next-gen packages. The term may belong in the next-generation glossary, however, engineer Ben Carter believed this technique could be applied to retro systems too. Posting a demo under his YouTube channel Shironeko Labs, Carter showcased his attempt at bringing hardware-assisted, real-time ray tracing to the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. Inspired by Star Fox’s Super FX chip - which introduced 3D graphics to the 16-bit Super Nintendo - Carter wanted to create his own chip to bring 3D graphics with ray tracing to the 29-year-old console....

Over the next year gamers are likely to hear a lot about the graphical capabilities of Unreal Engine 4. As one of the premiere graphics engines for the current generation of platforms, UE4 has a lot of potential, but a lot mystery surrounding it as well. So far, all we have seen are tech demos and footage of Fortnite, Epic Games’ upcoming survival title and one of the first games built using the latest iteration of Unreal....

As a hugely ambitious online shooter from the team behind Halo, Destiny was always destined for success. Early on, gamers took to its first person shooting and its team based gameplay that encouraged us to shoot alien beasties for fun as much as it encouraged us to team up and have silent dance parties.
