According to a recent interview, F-Zero GX producer Toshihiro Nagoshi would be willing to create a new F-Zero game for Nintendo. Even the slightest suggestion of a new F-Zero game would thrill series fans, who have gone well over a decade without a new installment. In the 1990s and 2000s, F-Zero was one of Nintendo’s signature franchises, offering a more intense alternative to Mario Kart. Befitting its origins as a Super Nintendo launch title, F-Zero made an impression on new SNES owners right away, with blistering speed and clever use of the system’s Mode 7 graphics capabilities....

The Fast and the Furious movies really are the strangest phenomenon in blockbusters. Dota 2 is celebrating Halloween with a long-awaited event – Diretide. Running from now until December 22 you can jump into the new game mode to collect candy, keep Roshan at bay, and earn some exclusive rewards. For the duration of the Diretide event, all Dota 2 matches you participate in will reward you with Diretide Points. Every time you collect 100 of these new Diretide Points, you’ll be given one of more than 75 unique rewards....

The 1857 Grimm fairytale Rapunzel has known many an adaptation. The most famous versions would probably include Steven Sondheim’s highly acclaimed Into The Woods musical, the Barbie Rapunzel film, and most recently Disney’s CGI animated film, Tangled. All of these iterations of the classic story stick fairly close to the original’s simple plot: a princess with absurdly long flowing hair has been taken from her parents by a witch and is locked away in a tower until she finally escapes with the help of a prince....

At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, developer High Moon Studios teased they had an announcement that was sure to make Marvel fans giddy with excitement. While we can understand publishers attempting to take control of the selling of their own video games and additional content, forcing users to subscribe to another, separate service when we already have one, sucks. As a simultaneously beloved and mocked character from the Dragon Ball universe, many fans likely expected to see Yamcha appear in the forthcoming fighting game, Dragon Ball FighterZ. Despite this confidence from the fanbase, hopeful players likely didn’t expect to see the character’s inclusion in the game confirmed through the anime hero’s voice actor on social media. Evidently, lacking an official confirmation through screenshots or a trailer from Namco Bandai, that’s exactly what has happened....

A new teaser trailer has been released for Arc System Works’ upcoming DragonBall FighterZ, showing off Gohan in his Ultimate form. Adult Gohan, who was first introduced in the Buu Saga of DragonBall Z, has surpassed the Super Saiyan 2 state that he used to defeat Cell and is able to go toe-to-toe against opponents such as Super Saiyan Blue Goku in the currently-airing DragonBall Super. The short but sweet trailer shows off some of Adult Gohan’s moveset in DragonBall FighterZ, with classic attacks such as Masenko and Kamehameha once again being part of his arsenal....

The future of Dungeons and Dragons games has never looked brighter than it does right now. With the in-development Baldur’s Gate 3 available for early adopters and an open-world D&D game in the works, fans have more to look forward to now than they’ve had for nearly an entire decade prior. Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance, one of the games coming soon, has been something of a question mark since its reveal in December 2019, but it’s now just a bit less mysterious....

Earlier this year, we learned that EA Sports and the NCAA would not renew their long-standing relationship, thereby putting an end to the NCAA Football game franchise. After satisfyingly wrapping up one portion of the Dead Space story in Dead Space 2, many gamers were left wondering where EA’s franchise would go to next. While rumors have suggested that the third entry in the series would see Isaac Clarke venturing to an ice planet, a new rumor has suggested more than one Dead Space game is in development. According to the rumor, EA has plans to not only release a numbered sequel to Dead Space 2, but a first person shooter as well....
