Outward, an open-world fantasy RPG developed by Nine Dots Studios, an independent game studio located in Quebec, Canada, and published by Deep Silver, has shipped over one million copies. Bad guys in the early entries are forgettably bland, but the latter films feature some incredible villains. In this ranking, we’ve excluded characters who were antagonists but not true villains (Luke Hobbs, Kara), heroes briefly coerced into turning heel (Dom, Letty), and garden variety henchmen....

While most Destiny players are pretty set in their ways when it comes to raid strategies, many find that things change over time. Point of fact, the strategy that most players used for the final boss fight in Crota’s End Normal mode changed somewhat significantly in Hard mode. For the new King’s Fall raid there has been a similar change in strategies, but it hasn’t been quite as radical. The fight with Oryx doesn’t have too many differences in Hard mode - mainly a new set of enemies called Light Eater Knights and higher level “adds” to deal with....

Nintendo has announced three more games for its Switch Online service, one of which is the critically acclaimed Donkey Kong Country. Originally released on the SNES, Donkey Kong Country is the first in one of the most respected platforming video game franchises. Although the Super Mario series had perfected side-scrolling action, Donkey Kong Country added its own distinct flavor to the genre. The visuals were unique, featuring pre-rendered graphics instead of traditional sprites....

The Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc has finally closed out as the single longest storyline in the Dragon Ball Super manga. Better known by most fans as the Moro arc, the saga brought back a level of tension comparable to the original manga. EA’s Blake Jorgensen hints at the prospect of future Star Wars Battlefront games, as well as confirming that the publisher can make games based on new Star Wars content. Star Wars Battlefront may only be releasing today, but publisher Electronic Arts is already moving on to other projects. Indeed, EA has even tentatively suggested that the multiplayer-focused shooter series is set to have further iterations in future.
