Rumors surrounding Dragon Age 4’s development are rampant on the internet. There’s a few strong hints that Tevinter will be the setting of DA4, making fans of the series wonder what other sorts of interesting characters that players could meet in this new chapter of the saga. A few new female Qunari romance options, playable characters, and NPCs for example would be an interesting change. The Qunari, or People of the Qun, are those that follow the scriptures of the Qun in the massive backstory and history of Dragon Age’s Thedas....

Much like most anime with their own video game source material, Netflix’s Dragon’s Dogma is full of fan service. We’re not just talking about the mature ones either – the anime or show adaptation has ported over tons of stuff from the video game, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen. That very well means any fan who has played that video game will recognize plenty of homages and references. PlayStation gamers that were hoping to get an easy Platinum Trophy are out of luck, as Sony has pulled a game that touted itself as the “easiest Platinum Trophy.” The game had been on the PSN store for about two days before Sony pulled the plug. The game itself, called 1000 Top Rated, had players sliding 9 tiles to form a picture. It’s a common time waster concept, but it wasn’t particularly challenging either....

Swedish gaming publisher Embracer Group has been on the rise in the last year. With over 200 franchises now under its ownership, Embracer Group currently has 150 games currently in development with nearly half of them due for release next year. Despite the pandemic, 2020 was a big year for Embracer Group, but it doesn’t look like the corporation plans to slow down its operations anytime soon. Last year, Embracer announced a slew of acquisitions including DECA Games, known for the MMO shooter game Realm of the Mad God, Nimble Giant Entertainment, Snapshot Games, which was founded by the creator of the X-COM franchise, and Zen Studios....

Fallout 76 contains a wide variety of creepy, secret locations to explore throughout its post-apocalyptic wasteland map. One of these areas is known as The Burrows. Located underneath Harpers Ferry, The Burrows is a complex network of underground sewage tunnels that spans the entire town. It was added as part of the Wild Appalachia expansion in April 2019. Exploring this place isn’t for the faint-of-heart. Players can expect to encounter ghouls, hostile robots, turrets, and a legendary enemy inside....

Fantasy Flight Games has revealed the newest main character to receive the Star Wars Legion treatment, and it’s none other than senator, queen, and mother of Jedi: Padmé Amidala. Star Wars Legion is a tabletop wargame set within the Star Wars universe. Gamers familiar with other tabletop wargames, such as Warhammer 40K, will feel right at home as they build their army and fight for survival.
