Fallout 3 introduced many gamers to the franchise by changing the gameplay and moving the storyline to the East Coast. Longtime fans of the series expressed their disappointment of the series. They remained interested in the series after Obsidian Entertainment, which employed several former developers, announced they would be working with Bethesda to release Fallout: New Vegas, which retained much of the story from Interplay’s planned Fallout 3 sequel. Since launching in 2017, Sirlin Games’ fighter, Fantasy Strike has garnered generally positive reviews and gained a niche following, but failed to achieve the same impact as other stalwart fighting game franchises. Following a spate of server issues after Destiny: Rise of Iron’s launch, Bungie announces that each of the problems have received a working resolution across all platforms. When Guardians on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One purchased and booted up Destiny: Rise of Iron today, one of the last things they wanted to encounter was server issues. Unfortunately, though, it seems as if Bungie wasn’t fully prepared for the huge inundation of Guardians ready to rush into action upon the expansion’s launch, as many fans discovered the inability to simply access servers, while some of those that could were actually getting kicked from the game....

Demons seem to be a never-ending threat in Blizzard’s acclaimed Diablo franchise. After all, factions in the world of Sanctuary have dedicated their existence to either the worship or elimination of these demonic threats. However, the games of the franchise soon reveal that demons only form half of the Eternal Conflict that rages around Sanctuary. In fact, opposite demons are angels of the High Heavens that so-desperately fight to maintain order in the Universe....

The arrival of the Necromancer in Diablo 3 has rekindled interest in Blizzard’s top-down jaunt through hell. Newer players have been looking for the fastest way to level a Necromancer, while veterans have been relentless poring over the class’s many activated and passive skills in order to discover the optimal build for end-game T13 play. Of the Legendary sets available to the Necromancer in Diablo 3, however, one has been lagging behind quite badly....

DICE LA today announced it’s changing its name to Ripple Effect Studios. The team will continue to work on a “player-inspired experience for Battlefield 2042,” but also mentioned a second, yet-to-be-revealed game is in development. Vince Zampella, founder of Respawn, will be responsible for managing the studio. Christian Grass will also take over as GM of Ripple Effect Studios, and said he couldn’t be more grateful for his time as DICE LA – in fact, he says that DICE will always be part of Ripple Effect Studios’ DNA....

“With its advanced thermal design, this gaming PC doesn’t make any compromises for performance,” Digital Storm says on its website. The machine will dual boot both SteamOS and Windows. SteamOS is an operating system built around Steam that was announced in September. It uses Linux as an architecture, though the development team at Valve has built on top. It features In-home Streaming, which will enable gamers to play all of their Windows and Mac games (over 3,000) straight to their machine running SteamOS....

While the Dino Crisis series probably isn’t considered a top tier horror franchise, it definitely had a significant following and now it has been remade using Unreal Engine. The series got two sequels and a light gun game. However, fans of dinosaur-based horror haven’t gotten much love from Capcom for the past decade and a half, as the last Dino Crisis game was released all the way back in 2003....

Disaster Report 4 finally hit the West back in April this year, but there’s good news for fans of the survival action-adventure series: developer Granzella has confirmed it is now officially prototyping a sequel. The news comes directly from Granzella, posting a 2020 retrospective blog entry on its official website. Addressing rumors of a Disaster Report 5, which was previously teased in-game, details remain sparse about what it contains, but Granzella released this statement:...

Disney was always going to be in for a tough ride when they decided to release Mulan as the movie industry’s guinea pig to test out what the streaming waters had to offer for big budget blockbusters. In July 2009, South African director Neill Blomkamp went from relative unknown to sci-fi’s rising star. That was the month District 9 hit theaters, raising moviegoers’ hopes for more genre movies that tackled big questions. But although Blomkamp has worked steadily since those days, he has never returned to the world that made him famous. However, Blomkamp has not given up hope. The past few days have been big for Doom Eternal, which is why it may be surprising to see the game is being review-bombed. Not long ago, it revealed images of its upcoming DLC, while a new update added more enemies to Doom Eternal, among other things. Former Twitch streamer Dr DisRespect (Guy Beahm) is streaming with PewDiePie (Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg) on the platform today, bringing two of the most popular and controversial video game streamers in the business under one broadcast. Popular streamer and content creator Dr Disrespect argued that players should be able to hear him talk smack after he kills them in Call of Duty: Warzone. Dr Disrespect, also known as the “Two-Time,” is known for his eccentric personality, constantly trash talking his opponents and broadcasting to the world how dominant he is at every game he plays. Whether it be roasting Nadeshot live on stream, claiming that he wants revenge on Twitter, or even getting completely jebaited, the 6'8" back to back blockbuster 1993-1994 video game champion is no stranger to the trash talk spotlight....

Dragon Age: Inquisition offers some diverse action-packed combat, with more than one combat mode, normal and tactical, customizable party set-ups, and players being able to choose from one of three classes, each of which has a further three specializations to choose from.
