Flashback to a year ago and plenty of people would have been vocal in their support for the then upcoming first person shooter Battlefield 4, but after several major issues such as the Death Shield bug and the rubber banding glitch hit the game after launch, you’d be incorrect to call that support ‘unwavering’. That support was also shaken like a mechanical bull positioned on a fault line after EA and the developer of Dead Space, Visceral Games announced Battlefield Hardline, the next game in the popular franchise that’s set to bring cops versus criminals online play to gamers later this year....

Are there any other franchises that encapsulate our childhoods like The Mighty Ducks movies and television show do? I vividly remember growing up and watching all three Mighty Ducks movies as they came out. I loved them so much that I begged my mom to buy me roller blades and hockey equipment so that I could emulate my favorite characters from the films. Well, I wasn’t good, but hey, neither were the Ducks at the beginning of the movie....

Possibly the biggest surprise in today’s “State of Play” stream from Sony, a new remaster of Jonathan Blow’s hit 2008 masterpiece Braid is on the way. Initially, it was seeming like this re-release (aptly titled Anniversary Edition) would be a Sony exclusive, but that isn’t the case. Those without a PS4 will likely have one of the various systems this is releasing on in their homes. Chaosium recently released a free to download 24-page handouts pack for Cthuhlu Dark Ages Third Edition, its medieval TTRPG set in the Call of Cthulhu Seventh Edition mythos. The handouts pack contains game items to give to Investigators during gameplay, some pre-gen Investigator character sheets, and a set of resources for the Keeper of Arcane Lore. The handouts and character sheets can be downloaded from Chaosium’s itchio site. Cthulhu Dark Ages is exactly what it sounds like - Cthulhu set loose in the historical Middle Ages between the fifth and fifteenth centuries....

About a couple of months ago, sources speaking to Kotaku mentioned that Dragon Age 4’s development had been completely rebooted in order to implement more live elements and services into the game, which alarmed many fans of the franchise who adore the property for its single player aspects. Now, details from a recent GDC 2018 panel featuring the series’ former Creative Director Mike Laidlaw adds a bit more worry to the pile, as he revealed the fourth installment in the RPG series had been delayed internally at BioWare due to restructuring, leading many to wonder what it means for the RPG sequel’s future....

In kicking off the Dragon Ball World Adventure at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con on Wednesday afternoon, thousands of fans joined Sean Schemmel, the English voice actor behind the character, Goku, in forming the largest collective Kamehameha the world has ever seen. Representatives from Guinness World Records were present at the event, and according to sources, the crowd accomplished their goal by a large margin. If you’re unfamiliar with the world of Dragon Ball, and curious as to what exactly a Kamehameha is, it’s when a character from the popular anime, namely Goku, presses their wrists together at their side in order to charge an attack, followed by thrusting their arms forward, unleashing a large, neon blue ball of energy at their enemy....

Monday morning Bandai Namco announced the next major update for Dragon Ball FighterZ will launch on May 9. The free update will feature two brand new significant features, the monthly FighterZ Cup and 3-player co-op Party Battle. Perhaps most exciting, though, are the update’s balance changes, which include nerfs to popular characters Adult Gohan, Vegeta, and Android 16. Within the competitive scene for Dragon Ball FighterZ, Adult Gohan, Vegeta, and Android 16 have long been considered amongst the game’s strongest fighters....

Fans became aware of a new entry in the Drawn to Life series after its existence was leaked through a listing by the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee last month. Since then, fans have been waiting for the game’s inevitable announcement, and earlier today it was made official. Drawn to Life: Two Realms will be making its way to the Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices in just over a month’s time, debuting on December 7....

What was first a rumor 11 months ago, today EA Sports has announced the return of NFL Blitz, a new HD version of the game that will be available via digital download in January 2012 on the Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network, costing gamers 1200 points and $14.99 respectively. When originally released in arcades everywhere in 1997, NFL Blitz became a smashing success, an arcade-style football game that was decidedly different (read: fast, fun, loud) from the traditional football games of the time (John Madden, Joe Montana, etc)....

Nowadays, it seems like barely a big money launch goes by without a boatload of problems. Glitches are missed, servers crumble and engineers scramble for answers. Of course, anyone who didn’t expect the same from Titanfall — EA’s all-new mech-battling IP — was either delusional or dangerously optimistic. As it turns out however, Titanfall’s launch appears to be going… well. The Missing Of Bleakrock is part of a questline in The Elder Scrolls Online that involves the Daggerfall Pact invading the humble island of villagers. Before the attackers can arrive, it’s the player’s responsibility to find and evacuate each of the villagers, if they want the full rewards anyway. Doing so requires tracking down each of the villagers and completing a number of side quests before they’ll agree to leave. Marvel’s upcoming Moon Knight series on Disney Plus, based on one of their more cult-favorite heroes, has apparently found its villain. According to The Hollywood Reporter, veteran actor and director Ethan Hawke has signed on to play the antagonist to Marc Spector/Moon Knight, played by Oscar Isaac. Hawke will join Isaac and the also newly announced May Calamawy in Moon Knight as his debut in the comic and superhero genre, having avoided such projects for the bulk of his extensive career thus far....

RAGE 2 has a pretty impressive wealth of options when it comes to various ways to dispatch (and entirely dismember) your enemies. On top of the different weapons and vehicles available in the game, there are also eleven different abilities available to you.
