Hordes of demons have once again invaded our Earthly realm, as id Software has officially revealed The Ancient Gods campaign expansion for Doom Eternal. The news came during this year’s Gamescom, giving us an in-depth look at the visceral new update coming on October 20. The trailer we saw introduced us to new locations, enemies, and a whole lot more ripping and tearing. It also looks like we’ll be up against some massive new bosses, but we still don’t know much about the actual narrative....

Double Fine has had a very successful run with nary a misstep since Tim Schafer and company opened the studio in 2000. After the huge productions that were Psychonauts and Brutal Legend, the company decided to shift its focus to smaller, more quickly produced titles such as Costume Quest and Stacking. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will be releasing its final DLC pack, Trunks: The Warrior of Hope, later this year, and it has something that hasn’t been seen in a Dragon Ball for a very long time — Future Gohan is shown without his arm. The news comes from a recent issue of V-Jump, which showed off some brand new screenshots from the expansion and went into a little more detail on the game....

Being a show borne out of a popular video game, Netflix’s Dragon’s Dogma was bound to be a faithful representation of its source material. Some might say that it’s a little too devoted to the video game seeing as it followed the same plot and progression and even utilized the same heroes and villains. This DUCKTALES review contains spoilers. Every so often, from the moment a DuckTales episode begins, I have a gut feeling it’s going to be incredible. That it’s going to somehow reach beyond DuckTales‘ usual greatness. ‘They Put a Moonlander on Earth!’ gave me that feeling from its opening moments… yet somehow went even furthur than I could predicted. Its quality, ironically, was so high it hit the moon. This episode is one of DuckTales’ best by far....

When Apex Legends first launched, it was on track to dominate the battle royale genre, besting titles like PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and Fortnite. Yet the BR title has suffered due to a lack of content and other issues, which could potentially have a negative impact on the valuation of Apex Legends and the overall healthiness of publisher Electronic Arts’ stock. It has been confirmed that Persona 5 Strikers will be receiving a western release on multiple platforms.
