In 2019, Epic Games launched a new program named Epic MegaGrants aimed at assisting talented teams and individuals working with Unreal Engine 3D. As of July 24, the team has revealed that over $42 million has been distributed to over 600 remarkable recipients in the development of some great-looking projects. In addition, Epic MegaGrants is confirmed to be having a far larger impact than the initiative’s predecessor, Unreal Dev Grants. In December of 2019, over 200 recipients had received funding from the new program, which surpassed the previous program’s four-year distributed total in only eight months....

Five Nights at Freddy’s fans got their first look at the new game, Security Breach, during the recent Playstation 5 showcase. Viewers got an interesting tease at environments and characters, all of which suggest this new game is a sequel to Help Wanted. A voice that appears to be Vanny from the aforementioned game speaks to Gregory, a character from the books. Gregory sounds terrified as if actively hiding from the demented bunny....

Obsidian Entertainment’s survival game Grounded has been a successful release for the popular developer. The game sold massively on Steam following a fun launch trailer at the Xbox Series X games showcase last month, contributing to Grounded reaching a million players within 48 hours. Apparently, some of those players are part of a Facebook group where members roleplay as ants. The aptly named “A group where we all pretend to be ants in an ant colony” Facebook group was started in June 2019 and boasts nearly two million members as of this writing....

Fall Guys developer Mediatonic is trying to build up hype for the battle royale game’s second season. Not only will Fall Guys get new levels and costumes, but it’ll also be receiving new customization options for nicknames and nameplates. With all that exciting content in mind, Mediatonic announced Friday morning that Season 2 will launch directly after Season 1 ends in just a few short days. Fallout 4 players discover that Sam Malone’s famous bar from the hit sitcom Cheers can be found amidst the Bostonian wasteland, with references to the show galore. Fallout 4 allows players to explore post-apocalyptic Boston, and part of the fun of the game is visiting famous Bostonian landmarks to see how they’ve changed since the bombs dropped. Actual famous Boston locations can be visited in the game, such as Fenway Park, but Bethesda has also included one of Boston’s most recognizable fictional establishments as well: a little bar named Cheers....

Fallout 4 and Skyrim game director Todd Howard confirms that the upcoming Fallout 4 VR title will comprise of the whole game and fans can play from start to finish. Ever since Fallout 4 was released to positive reviews back in November 2015, Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG has been a remarkable success, becoming the most successful game in the publisher’s history. It has been a number of months since the release of the most recent post-game DLC expansion, Nuka-World, but there is still more content in the works from Bethesda in the form of a virtual reality Fallout 4 for the HTC Vive VR headset, and fans can expect more than just a simple demo....

Prior to the release of Fallout 76, Bethesda repeatedly stressed that players would not be able to pay in order to gain a gameplay advantage. The studio explained that its microtransactions would be cosmetic-only, and that its Perk cards wouldn’t be pay to win either. However, a new discovery by players is casting a huge shadow of doubt on Bethesda’s comments. Ever since Hugh Jackman retired from playing the Wolverine, fans have been speculating about who should next play the iconic X-Men character. A recent piece of fan art suggested that The Boys star Antony Starr should play the mutant in the MCU. Before The Boys, Starr was best known for playing an ex-con and master thief in the critically acclaimed Cinemax series Banshee. Fargo season 3 was often ponderous, existential, and meandering. Loop Hero is an upcoming rogue-like RPG developed by Four Quarters and published by Devolver Digital, but that brief description doesn’t do much justice to a game filled to the brim with unique features and concepts.
