Earlier this week, Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment delighted fans by confirming that it is looking into enabling cross-play in the new battle royale game. However, it seems that Apex Legends may not be the only EA-published title that is considering adding cross-play. On Friday, Epic Games filed a motion for a preliminary injunction against Apple’s decision to block its Fortnite app on iOS devices. The injunction brief states that more than 116 million gamers have played Fortnite on iOS, the game’s biggest platform. It may have taken a while after a COVID-caused production shutdown, but Fargo‘s intriguing, Chris Rock-fronted fourth season has finally procured a premiere, with FX having officially set a September release date. Subsequent episodes will premiere on the same Sunday timeslot individually on a weekly basis. Giant’s Software, developers of the Farming Simulator series, entered the fray of esports this past weekend when the Farming Simulator League kicked off during Farmcon. The annual fan event took place Saturday and Sunday in Harsewinkel Germany and hosted thousands of fans who showed up to see the very first rounds of the Farming Simulator League. Last year, Giant’s Software hosted a series of individual events, called the Farming Simulator Championship, to test the waters of a full-fledged esports league....
