This weekend featured a major game release on Steam. Horizon Zero Dawn, one of the biggest game releases on the PlayStation 4, had its PC port released on Friday. It’s the first major PS4 exclusive both developed and published by Sony to come to PC this generation and expectations for its release have been high. Only, much to everyone’s surprise, Horizon Zero Dawn hasn’t been the most popular release of the weekend....

The area includes a resort, a bunker, and more merchants than you can shake a golf club at. Luckily, players can find plenty of those to shake at things, or more likely feral ghouls, as well. Not too long ago, Bethesda released a patch that reintroduced old bugs to its online multiplayer role-playing game, Fallout 76, with players reporting that the title still had an item duping problem despite the company having aimed to fix it. Now, it looks as if the publisher and developer is hard at work to rid the action-RPG of this issue once and for all, as well as introduce fixes for those who encounter server disconnects....
Destiny players uncover an exploit with Sparrow Racing that requires emergency attention from Bungie, as it bypasses the game’s most expensive microtransaction. Destiny players have uncovered an exploit that allows them to bypass a microtransaction associated with the new Sparrow Racing League. Developer Bungie says that they are aware of the exploit and working quickly to fix it. While most of Destiny’s microtransactions thus far have been special emotes meant to express some sort of in-game emotion, or simply to dance, the introduction of the Sparrow Racing League brought a new premium item: the SLR Record Book....

Bethesda has revealed a new gameplay trailer for their follow up to 2016’s DOOM reboot, DOOM Eternal. It’s the first new gameplay footage fans have seen in quite some time, despite the game now confirmed to be launching on November 22, 2019. The DOOM Eternal footage shows some of the brutal action long-time series fans are used to, offering glances at some of the brutal dismemberment that also appeared in the first game three years ago....
Tim Kitzrow brought the game to life as the announcer in NBA Jam, NFL Blitz and NHL Hitz, and now his energetic style could be brought to another game. Appearing on the Steam Community Workshop now, an announcer voice pack for Dota 2 featuring Kitzrow’s iconic delivery is available to be voted on by Steam users. The pack, entitled “Dota Jam Announcer Pack” features the voice of Kitzrow, delivering some iconic catchphrases and commentary that sounds like it came straight from NBA Jam....
It looks like the developers behind Rogue Company are getting a new map design from one of the biggest faces in video games right now. Dr Disrespect has only been back to streaming for a week, but he dove back in headfirst. Doc took to Twitter with his own plans for a Rogue Company map idea, titled The Arena, and the developers were quick to respond. Rogue Company released in closed beta back in July, but it has already garnered a lot of fans....

Fuel Industries doesn’t think so. The Ottawa-based company is excavating the site of one of pop culture’s most infamous grave sites - a landfill in Alamogrodo - in an effort to see if Atari really did discard over 3.5 million copies of the game (and various other pieces of hardware and software) back in 1983.
