First-person shooters thrive off of their weapons. Guns are always on screen in FPS titles, which means having a wide selection of them that feel distinct from the last is important to keep the game fresh. Call of Duty has learned this well, introducing new weapons with each installment. Whelp, it happened again – Amouranth lost yet another 300,000 followers as a result of her ban, but they were only gone for a brief moment. After about a day, the 300,000 followers magically returned back to Amouranth’s loving arms. Fallout 76, Bethesda’s first online multiplayer Fallout game will release next month, but some will be able to try it out far sooner. Recently, Scott Cawthon (the auteur behind Five Nights at Freddy’s) shared a post on the game’s subreddit, entitled ‘Bad news about the FNAF movie’. In the post, Cawthon reflects on the “long road” that’s been Blumhouse’s movie adaptation of the indie horror: he outlines the various script ideas that have been put forward, and why all them have failed. From the ‘Ghost Trackers Screenplay’ which saw a group of amateur ghost hunters attempt to uncover the truth about Freddy’s, which felt too much like its own idea, to the ‘Plushies Take Manhattan Screenplay’, which Cawthon simply wanted to “burn with fire”....

Square Enix recently released Chrono Trigger onto Steam with almost no fanfare. This is one of the best games that Square Enix ever developed and it was being released onto the biggest gaming platform in the world… and they didn’t say advertise its release until the day it came out. Fans quickly realized why Square Enix was so shy about the Steam release of Chrono Trigger - it was total garbage....

Far Cry 5 is still a couple of months away from release, but that hasn’t stopped Ubisoft from detailing what’s included in the game’s season pass. As announced today, Far Cry 5’s season pass will include three DLC expansions, all of which should provide plenty of variety for players after they’ve had their fill of the main game’s setting. Far Cry 5’s first DLC is Dead Living Zombies, and as its name suggests, it will see players fighting off hordes of the undead....

Destiny’s new raid armor and weapons were previewed in the last reveal stream for the game’s upcoming live event, Age of Triumph. Marvel’s eternally upcoming Black Widow film has been granted yet another delay by Disney in a year where such setbacks are given out like cars on Oprah. The media colossus is pushing back the anticipated movie starring Scarlett Johansson to May 7th 2021, putting over a year between its new release date and its originally planned debut of May 1st 2020. But Disney isn’t stopping there. Aside from Black Widow, Disney’s round of pushbacks has also affected Eternals and Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings....
