The roster of Granblue Fantasy: Versus is about to get a little bigger. Developer ArcSystemWorks has announced that Djeeta (basically the cover girl for the series) will be coming as DLC on April 7, 2020. A new trailer was released in Japan that gives us a pretty solid idea of how she’ll play. Despite being a paid character, Djeeta looks pretty similar to Gran. That makes sense from a story perspective, but I’m not sure why many players would want to spend additional money to get an incredibly similar character....

When Dragon Ball FighterZ first launched, the 2.5D fighting game had Super Saiyan Goku, Super Saiyan Vegeta, SSGSS Goku, and SSGSS Vegeta on its roster, but the game did not contain the original base form of the two fan-favorite characters. But now, following the addition of Fused Zamasu and Vegito Blue, both Vegeta and Goku’s base forms are coming to the fighter. Each character will be made available in early August and come with some of their signature moves: for Goku, that means Kai0-ken and Super Spirit Bomb; for Vegeta, that means Galaxy Breaker and Galick Gun....

The Dungeons & Dragons Adventurers League recently announced an open call seeking writers for Tier 4 adventures. D&D Adventurers League (DDAL) admins are wanting to inspire and aid more game designers in writing DDAL adventures, and so are attempting to get those people interested in doing so to write and send in their submissions by 5 p.m. EST on Friday, July 24th, 2020. In the official Open Call post, DDAL admins explained they know writing for D&D can be a daunting task, made even more intimidating when trying to write in accordance to the DDAL rules....
The current edition of Dungeons & Dragons offers several different campaign settings for the dungeon master to use in the base books of the game. The Player’s Handbook and the Dungeon Master’s Guide offer guidelines for running games in the Dragonlance, Eberron, Greyhawk, and Forgotten Realms settings, though we weren’t given a ton of information about the individual settings. EA is changing the name of a new Elite avatar in Battlefield V to avoid making “any political statements.” Also, he was a freedom fighter in real-life and not a Nazi general. Electronic Arts has joined the ranks of companies pulling out of Belgium after the country declared loot boxes in video games as illegal gambling. The company made the announcement today, stating that FIFA Points (an in-game currency that must be purchased) will no longer be sold in Belgium as of January 31, 2019. FIFA players will still be able to purchase card packs with coins earned within the game, though it’s a tough grind to purchase packs....
