There are some franchises which can often throw people by how popular they inexplicably become. The Truck Simulator games, such as American Truck Simulator released in 2016, have become surprising successes over the years, and even though Euro Truck Simulator 2 is more than eight years old at this point, it’s still enjoying moderate success as a recent announcement states it will be getting some new DLC soon. This new DLC will allow players to simulate life on the road in Russia....

Cheats in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart are tied to the Gold Bolts, which are collectibles typically hidden throughout each of the game’s planets and levels. Finding every Gold Bolt can be time-consuming and tricky, but they offer some pretty cool rewards in the long run. There are 25 Gold Bolts to collect in Rift Apart, but obtaining them typically doesn’t unlock cheats or special abilities. Instead, for the most part, collecting Gold Bolts will unlock things such as skins for Ratchet and Rivet’s weapons, sticker packs for the game’s Photo Mode, or Music that the player can listen to at a Jukebox....

Now, just over a year since its launch, players will get an opportunity to return to the rain-damp streets of Disco Elysium’s Revachol. Disco Elysium: The Final Cut is a free expansion/director’s cut of the original game, which was announced at the 2020 Game Awards....

Just like the mighty phoenix rising from the ashes, a group of former Riot Games and Ubisoft developers have formed a new studio called Vela Games and are aiming to create a title that is designed to combat online toxicity and re-imagine what is possible with cooperative elements. Currently titled Project-V, interested parties can now sign-up for an alpha testing phase that is slated to begin in early 2021. Travis George, co-founder and CEO of Vela (who previously worked as a project lead on League of Legends), excitedly explained, “It’s still early days for Project-V, but we’re thrilled to offer a sneak peek at a few of our characters, and let a small pool of players test out what we’ve been working on as soon as possible… We’re excited to see what our first players have to add to the conversation” He notes that the team at Vela is interested in creating games with player feedback and is hoping the community will be responsive to what Project-V is all about....

Fort Hagen is a military base that is found in Fallout 4. Players might come across the location as they explore Boston or they might find it as they complete quests. Being a military base, players must be on the lookout not just for turrets and hostile robots, but also new inhabitants to the base. With the Automatron DLC, Fort Hagen’s hanger becomes a hideout for a new gang. After getting rid of the enemies around the base, players are able to explore and learn about the history of Fort Hagen....

It’s no secret that a lot of gaming fans have been waking up each morning and clamoring for Fallout 4 news ever since the game was revealed in June during Bethesda’s press conference at E3 2015. After discovering a number of files for the upcoming Far Harbor DLC for Fallout 4, a gamer uncovers a number of details on what the expansion may contain. However, beyond revealing that Far Harbor is larger than the sizable The Shivering Isles expansion for The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, and that it will take place on a mysterious new island, not much is known about the upcoming Fallout 4 DLC pack....

With the movie franchise amassing billions at the box office, some might be confused why Fast and Furious has never had a successful video game adaptation, with the movies clearly making a lot of money and feeling tailor-made to reach the virtual world. It seems Fast and Furious: Crossroads has attempted to do just that, looking to bridge the film and the gaming market by bringing Dom and the gang to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One....

Dead Idle Games, the studio behind the award-winning If On A Winter’s Night, Four Travelers, has released a mock-up of what AMC’s The Terror would look like as a point-and-click adventure game. The art comes from Thomas Möhring, the other half of the team comprised of himself and Laura Hunt. It was a “quick speedpaint concept art” that came to fruition while coming up with ideas for their next project....

The remaster of Diablo II, titled Diablo II: Resurrected, is finally coming out in 2021. Diablo 2 is a more than 20-year-old game at this point and well-deserving of a remaster, so it should be no surprise that excitement is building for the comeback of the most revered entry in the franchise. But for many players, Diablo 2: Resurrected will be their first foray into the demonic series. They consider the elimination of the three Prime Evils (Diablo, Mephisto, Baal) their primary goal as a people and prophesized their coming long before the events of the game....

Back in 2018, in order to keep the long-running tradition intact, Blizzard Entertainment decided to have its Darkening of Tristram event return to the wildly popular action-RPG, Diablo 3, and it looks as if this year is going to be no different. The latest news about the Thirteenth Doctor’s regeneration in the BBC Centenary Doctor Who special has come straight from the Doctor herself. In an interview in Empire magazine this month, Jodie Whittaker spoke about filming her final scenes, and it sounds like fans are in for an emotional farewell. “I love the dialogue Chris wrote for my regeneration. It captures my Doctor beautifully. It’s simple, epic and beautiful,” Whittaker is quoted as saying, before revealing her final sequence is delivered in one long take....

The world of Dragon: Age Origins has a variety of different characters to get to know, such as the grey warden and possible king, Alistair. One of the more interesting and mysterious characters who are central to the game’s plot is the Witch of the Wilds, Morrigan. She joins the party after they narrowly survive the Battle of Ostagar. And like many of the more fleshed-out party members, she can be romanced....

From the ever-changing villainous transformations to the varied Saiyan evolutions, the story of Dragon Ball Z is riddled with characters of many appearances. The first instance of Super Saiyan, witnessed on the crumbling world of Namek in the culmination of Goku and Frieza’s furious battle, was certainly unforgettable. As the story progressed, however, further Saiyan transformations remained just as memorable, from Gohan turning Super Saiyan 2 against Cell to Goku’s Super Saiyan 3 ascension to face Majin Buu....

When we heard that Sony announced the DualSense controller, we were surprised that they weren’t releasing the DualShock 5. It’s now clear why they renamed the new controller since this one is radically different. Although the appearance of the DualSense is divisive at this point, the clean-cut design opens up the potential for new color schemes.
