Tomorrow, for 12 hours straight, the E in ESPN will stand for Electronic. ESPN will be airing a variety of esports content all day tomorrow. It’s been quite a year for Activision Blizzard. According to the company’s recently released fourth quarter results, it generated a revenue of $2.41 billion, as opposed to the projected $2 billion. Additionally, Activision Blizzard generated $3.04 billion in net bookings compared to its initial outlook of $2.73 billion. “Net bookings is an operating metric that is defined as the net amount of products and services sold digitally or sold-in physically in the period, and includes license fees, merchandise, and publisher incentives, among others, and is equal to net revenues excluding the impact from deferrals,” clarified the report which, as you can imagine, was quite extensive....
Supernova is a film that started promisingly. Originated in 1990 under the title of Dead Star, the idea – as pitched by writer William Malone – would be for something akin to Dead Calm, just in space. Dead Calm is a great choice of influence too, with Phillip Noyce’s out-on-the-water thriller using isolation expertly, as Billy Zane puts in one of his best, and most menacing, screen performances. Dead Star was set to follow a similar idea, and that meant a modest budget at most – around $6 million was cited – would be needed to tell the story of alien artifacts being brought back to Earth....
Game publisher and developer Bethesda officially confirms that console mods for its post-apocalyptic RPG, Fallout 4, begin on Xbox One this month with a beta. Bethesda recently took to its official Twitter account to reveal the staggering number of one million mod downloads for the PC version of Fallout 4, and in the process, the studio also announced that the game will finally be receiving console mods on Xbox One during May in beta after the forthcoming Far Harbor DLC releases....

Disney+ began its series of Star Wars TV shows successfully with The Mandalorian in the latter half of 2019. While its next Star Wars shows are releasing at unknown dates, it is now known that the Disney+ series based on Obi-Wan Kenobi has just brought a new writer on board for the show’s development. One Redditor develops an astounding Agent build for The Division, which allows his character to dole out almost 300K damage per second, higher than almost any other build. Now that the 1.2 update for The Division has been around for a week or so, players have had plenty of time to scramble around for new gear sets and attempt to maximize their Agent builds. While many players are likely comfortable with their updated builds by now, we expect very little could compete with this top tier build for The Division found on Reddit, as it reaches almost 300k DPS, and we couldn’t picture someone easily beating the build in the Dark Zone....
