Elden Ring‘s massive 1.03 update includes quite a few buffs, nerfs, QOL updates, and performance improvements, but one of the update’s most exciting features is the addition of a new NPC known as Jar-Bairn. As it turns out, that new NPC also offers a new questline that helps solve quite a few Elden Ring mysteries. While those starting their Elden Ring adventure after the 1.03 update may be able to follow Jar-Bairn’s questline easily enough, anyone trying to complete the quest near the end of the game (or after they’ve made significant process elsewhere) may be confused by the ways this quest ties into other NPC questlines....

Epic Games, the developer behind Fornite, just launched a publishing label appropriately titled “Epic Games Publishing,” and it plans to do things fairly differently from other publishers. When describing its new addition, Epic boasted about its incredibly developer-friendly terms and even announced that it already has some developers in its roster. As of now, the publisher has three studios working under it: Gen Design (The Last Guardian and Shadow of the Colossus), Playdead (Limbo and Inder), and Remedy Entertainment (Alan Wake and Control)....

A major fire incident happened at the OVH Datacenter in Strasbourg. During the incident, one of the buildings was completely destroyed, resulting in a large amount of unrestorable data lost in the popular survival game, Rust. The case was reported early on March 10. Firefighters were immediately sent on the scene but could not control the fire’s origin point in SBG2. More than a hundred workers and 44 units of equipment were involved in extinguishing the fire and the electricity had to be cut off in the entire area....

In June, Bandai Namco Entertainment and Spike Chunsoft announced One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, the first console game ever to focus on the popular anime/manga series One Punch Man. This One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows announcement confirmed that the game would be a 3v3 fighting game, and the game’s revel trailer gave fans their first look at some of the characters that will be featured in the game....

Cyberpunk 2077 is expected to be massive in size and scope no matter which angle it is viewed from, and Cyberpunk 2077’s diverse gangs could certainly foster even further depth through the player’s interactions in Night City. With the exception of the rumored Tyger’s Claw gang, ten other gangs are thus far confirmed and revealed in some context for being present in Cyberpunk 2077 and its various districts. 6th Street 6th Street is a vigilante gang established in order to protect the people of the Vista Del Rey district in Night City....

With Destiny 2 now in its fourth year, many fans were expecting a sequel to be arriving in the not too distant future. It came as some surprise then when instead of a sequel, not one, but three new expansions were announced back in June. The last of those expansions, Lightfall (working title), is slated for a release at some point in 2022 – at which point Destiny 2 will be five years old....

The 1.4 update for Genshin Impact will be bringing the Venti and Childe banners back, along with new events, updates, and quests. While the Venti banner will be fairly similar to his original run, the Childe banner features the four-star Rosaria, a brand new Cryo polearm user. As Rosaria will be the first new four-star character added to Genshin Impact since Xinyan, fans are excited to give her kit a try....

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is approaching the start of yet another season, and this time it is known as the Season of the Chosen. A lot of things are happening throughout the galaxy that should give any veteran guardian pause for thought. Xivu Arath and the Pyramids are destabilising the system, and this has brought Empress Caiatl, leader of the Cabal, to seek an alliance. The only problem is that the Cabal are notoriously hard to bargain with, and when Zavala doesn’t provide everything the empress asks for, things go badly very quickly....

One of the biggest surprises from last year’s The Game Awards event was the announcement of an upcoming co-operative multiplayer game based on Sam Raimi’s beloved Evil Dead horror film series. The game is in development from Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games and will feature characters and locations from all three Evil Dead films and the Starz series Ash vs. Evil Dead, which ran from 2015 to 2018. Now Saber Interactive has finally revealed that Ray Santiago’s character, Pablo Simon Bolivar, will feature in the game as a playable character....

Your Cyberpunk 2077 figure collection can get bigger, because we know some of you have already decided the game is worth obsessing over before it even comes out. Dark Horse and CD Projekt Red revealed a new figure of Takemura, someone described as “one of the most important characters featured in Night City.” Little is actually known about Takemura, other than that he seems to be associated with the Tyger Claws gang....

One gamer has uncovered the peculiar way in which a very popular radio mod for Fallout 4 works. Fallout 4’s Old World Radio Boston mod is one of the most popular audio mods in the game, with over 300,000 downloads to date. However, the creator’s method for adding an extra radio station to the game that continues to play music in real time - even when a player changes the channel - is surely an odd one....
