Looking to capitalize on the game’s continued momentum, Bungie is getting ready to launch its biggest expansion yet as Destiny: The Taken King nears release in a couple of months. Though gamers are now two months from the next major release for Destiny, Bungie has slowly pulled back the layers, revealing what sort of content fans can expect to see within the game....

Dragon Ball FighterZ debuted an all new gameplay trailer for the latest character added to the fighting game’s roster, Trunks. The trailer packs a dozen classic Dragon Ball Z Trunks abilities into the 45-second trailer, including Trunks’ sword and his staple ability, the Burning Attack. Warner Bros. has begun filming DC’s Black Adam with Dwayne Johnson. The superhero blockbuster is scheduled for release on July 29, 2022. Despite having a remarkable movie career, Dwayne Johnson has never played an iconic superhero before. Bethesda promised to deliver new information and footage of many of their titles during their pre-E3 2015 conference. The ESA has announced that E3, one of the most popular conventions in all of gaming, will be returning for 2021. Scheduled to happen between June 15 to 17, this new plan comes after the ESA noted it would be “exploring options with our members to coordinate an online experience” for 2020. It seems that won’t be happening now. Nothing has been confirmed, but it seems unlikely for the ESA to go forward with anything....

It’s no secret that the video game industry has long been dominated by male developers. In fact, according to a study released last year by International Game Developers Association (IGDA), women still only make up about a quarter of developers in the industry. Fortunately, that’s double the number of female developers in 2009. Despite this improvement, it seems the folks at Electronic Arts would like to see more women enter the industry and take on more important roles at development companies....

President and CEO of Daybreak Game Company, John Smedley, has been with the company since the very beginning, back when it was known as Sony Online Entertainment and created the monumental MMO EverQuest. Smedley also saw Sony Online Entertainment through its transition to becoming Daybreak Game Company after Sony sold off the company to investment firm Columbus Nova. After helping the company achieve legendary status with EverQuest and also aiding in the creation of the online zombie game H1Z1, it’s been announced that Smedley is retiring from his position as president and CEO of Daybreak....
