Players who have a PC copy of Bethesda’s latest release, Fallout 4, can now use the Nexus Mod Manager to make installing mods quicker and easier to do. Fallout 4 has been out for one week and its modding community is already active and changing the game at an impressive rate. Over 1200 mods for Bethesda’s latest game are currently available to download from the Nexus Mods website, ranging from basic lighting fixes to mods that turn babies into Atom bombs....

With Bethesda’s myriad tweaks and refinements to one of the video game industry’s most discussed franchises, it will be no surprise if Fallout 4 goes on to become this year’s most sought after title for consumers. Additionally, after the overwhelmingly positive reception for the post-apocalyptic RPG’s debut at E3 2015, Fallout 4 ought to garner just as much acclaim from critics in the coming months as it does from die-hard fans....

About a couple of days ago, Bethesda provided an overview of a patch to come for its multiplayer role-playing game, Fallout 76, with the update expected to bring a bevy of fixes for myriad lingering issues in the title. Now, the publisher and developer has officially released the patch for PC players, and it includes more than 150 different fixes for problems related to weapons, crafting, perks, and a whole lot more....

One of the hottest items gamers are looking to score this fall is the new Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card, but doing so is proving to be quite the challenge. The launch of the 3080 went so poorly that Nvidia issued an apology to the many PC enthusiasts and gamers looking to upgrade their rig who were left out in the cold. While the new graphics cards will be back in stock eventually, for those that missed out, a fan has created a 3D model of the 3080 that might also help gamers save their pennies to pay for the card when they do return to the shelves....

It’s been over two years now since Far Cry 5 first hit shelves, but it sounds like we might get a look at the next entry in the series very soon. According to recent rumors, Ubisoft is planning to reveal Far Cry 6 during the company’s Ubisoft Forward event on July 12, as the game looks to be the first Far Cry entry on the next generation of consoles. Ubisoft recently stated that it plans to release five new AAA games before the end of March 2021....

The Japanese mobile game Fate/Grand Order, which has been incredibly popular in terms of downloads, is getting a new limited-time event for Japan’s White Day by the name of “An Old Spider Spins Webs of Memory.” In it, players will team up with Sherlock Holmes’ arch-nemesis, Professor James Moriarty. White Day, for those unfamiliar, is a holiday that functions as a sort of sequel to Valentine’s Day. In Japan and other Asian nations, Valentine’s Day is an opportunity for women to give chocolates and other gifts to the men in their lives, while White Day is held one month later on March 14 as the inverse....

In addition to some big changes for PvP and the Crimson Days event, the next Destiny update will also fix some troublesome bugs in the King’s Fall raid. This week Bungie is doing things differently with its Weekly Update, starting first with the name. Now titled ‘This Week at Bungie’, the State of the Destiny Union still encompasses the usual going-on with the developer’s work on their popular MMO shooter, and discusses future changes to the game....

Devolver Digital is an American-based video game publisher that specializes in indie titles. While Fall Guys is the publisher’s absolute other-worldly breakout game, Devolver Digital has had big successes for years, often in genres very much different from the party multiplayer style of Fall Guys. When Electronic Arts confirmed that DICE was, in fact, taking over the Star Wars: Battlefront franchise it seemed like a no-brainer. After EA acquired the rights to publish and develop all future Star Wars games, there were a lot of questions in the air, but gamers felt pretty confident that it was DICE who should pick up where Pandemic Studios left off. And strangely, prior to the EA/Disney deal, DICE felt exactly the same — believing they could develop both Battlefield and Battlefront at the same time....

Just like its titular star, Apple TV+’s stylish historical drama Dickinson is certainly not about to stop for death. Today Apple confirmed a release date for season 2 of its wildly anachronistic, yet wildly entertaining show. Doctor Strange has been on the Marvel movie to-do list since the House of Ideas was still just a place that studio president Kevin Feige visited on his way home from eighth grade when he stopped at his local comic book shop. The arrogant surgeon who becomes a master of the mystic arts and one of the Earth’s chief protectors against supernatural and extra-dimensional threats has fascinated and flummoxed a long string of screenwriters, producers and studios since at least 1986, and it even took the current powerhouse version of Marvel Studios nearly a decade to install the good doctor in his cozy little Sanctum Sanctorum down in Greenwich Village....

In the build up to Doctor Who series 10’s premiere (I cling to the word ‘series’, accepting that ‘season’ will ultimately win), much of the press surrounding her character, Bill, was about sexuality. It’s been a long time coming, but the wait is almost over. Nintendo Switch fans will be able to enjoy Doomguy’s latest ripping and tearing adventure from December 8 (although it’ll be digital-only). Now, the Switch has certainly enjoyed a successful run to date. Animal Crossing: New Horizons helped the system to send Nintendo’s profits into the atmosphere during the pandemic-blighted 2020, but Switch –unlike some of the company’s previous consoles—hasn’t been solely reliant on first-party titles to drive sales....

Dota 2’s summer 2020 competitive plans may have been decimated by the pandemic, but it’s not slowing down Valve’s microtransactions. Earlier this week, Valve unveiled The International 10 Collector’s Cache Volume 2, packed with items from the Dota 2 workshop. Now it’s back with even more, releasing the Toy Butcher Persona for Pudge, as well as the Voice of the International announcer pack. The Toy Butcher Persona is part of the bigger Dota 2 battle pass for The International 10, Valve’s huge annual microtransaction-rich event....

Dragon Age: Inquisition has seen a few downloadable content packs post-release, mostly notable among them being the Jaws of Hakkon expansion. There’s been several new in-game items introduced exclusively among these DLC packs, and BioWare has come up with a neat way to potentially add more of these items in the future: the studio will be letting players try their hand at creating new in-game items for Dragon Age: Inquisition, via a contest that is running from now until July 20th....

Female protagonists in video games have improved dramatically in the last few years. Examples like Ellie from The Last of Us and Kassandra from Assassin’s Creed Odyssey show have far we’ve come from the early PlayStation days. But something like the Dragon Age Series gives us a very mixed bag. The games do contain an inordinate amount of sexist jokes! With many women being portrayed in a stereotypical or overly sexual way....

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s characters frequently gain dramatic spikes in power somewhat unexpectedly, typically whenever a new transformation is unlocked. Often, this ends up being the key to victory for the Z Warriors, as their foe tends to start out at a much higher power level than they do.
