Divinity: Original Sin makes its way to consoles with an impressive level of quality, a decent graphical overhaul, and a fantastic co-op gameplay experience. When a game tries to translate to another platform, the results are not always positive. The PC port of Batman: Arkham Knight has proved to be a disaster, with huge glitches and frame rate issues aplenty resulting in a full refund being offered to purchasers. Meanwhile, PC games have also historically suffered from awkward console ports, with the PS3 version of Skyrim noticeably suffering in terms of frame rate and load times....

Jodie Whittaker doesn’t think Ncuti Gatwa needs any advice from her on becoming the next face of Doctor Who. At the Q&A after the press screening for her final episode, ‘The Power of the Doctor’, held at the Curzon Bloomsbury in London on Tuesday 11th October, Whittaker was answering questions alongside co-stars Mandip Gill, Sacha Dhawan, and departing showrunner Chris Chibnall. When asked by Q&A moderator Charlie Girling what her biggest piece of advice is for the next Doctor, Jodie Whittaker’s light-hearted reply was: ‘There’s no advice you can give....

It’s no secret that BioWare has a lot riding on Dragon Age 4. After the disappointments of Mass Effect: Andromeda and Anthem, the next Dragon Age game will need to win fans over with a truly next-generational role-playing experience. Dragon Age 4 made an appearance at Gamescom last week that took some fans by surprise. The developers revealed that the upcoming RPG would take a very different path to Inquisition and could establish a pattern that reveals the true arc of the series....

E3 2019 has been hitting it hard, with Microsoft bringing Keanu Reeves on stage for Cyberpunk 2077 and Ubisoft showing tons of Watch Dogs Legion footage, but Square Enix is up next and will likely have some bombshells to drop as well. While there are sure to be some surprises, we do know that the new IP Outriders, Marvel’s Avengers, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be at Square Enix’s E3 2019 press conference....

With the iconic E3 gaming expo just a month away, it comes as no surprise that fans are demanding Skate 4 from publisher Electronic Arts. The game itself, which isn’t likely in development, has become a bit of a phenomenon, as fans demand it year after year. In fact, another skating simulator called Session hopes to seize some of that hype when it launches later this year, but that hasn’t stopped the demand for Skate 4....

Earlier this week, EN World’s Russ Morrissey announced that the team who will work on the Level Up: Advanced 5th Edition tabletop roleplaying game had been chosen. Fighting the intrusive Vek can be a tough challenge in Into The Breach. The crafty bugs are pervasive and stubborn adversaries that will stop at nothing to destroy humanity. As a result the player needs to similarly be clever in pushing back against their invasion. The game is intentionally challenging and requires the player to often think outside the box to find solutions in order to survive. Having the right strategy is key and knowing what each Pilot and their Mech is capable of is important....

Can there ever really be too many Ghibli-inspired things in the world? (The answer is no.) Eternal Hope - from indie developer Doublehit Games - is a just-announced puzzle platformer inspired by the iconic Studio Ghibli that will be releasing August 6th on PC via Steam. Eternal Hope puts players in the shadowy shoes of Ti’bi, a young boy who travels between the realms of the living and the dead as he searches for the soul of his lost love....

Kind blue eyes. That’s the most striking part of the poster for The Black Phone, the latest Blumhouse horror movie from director Scott Derrickson. Filling the poster is the face of the Grabber, a kidnapper and child murderer who terrorizes a Denver suburb in 1978, covered with speckled gray paint. A mask covers the Grabber’s jaw, giving the killer an unsettling permanent grin, while a top hat and wide glasses accentuate his upper face....

Weapon Mods are a pretty essential part of Remnant: From The Ashes — about as essential as its Scrap Currency system. In fact, they’re a foundation component, comparable to systems like Weapon Arts from Dark Souls 3, Living Weapons in Nioh/Nioh 2, or even the Drone Modules in The Surge/Surge 2. There are a lot of them in the game, and most are unlocked from Crafting Component dropped from all the different bosses....

The Shadowlands expansion will soon be available in World of Warcraft, and with it comes the massive level squish that will see the top cap brought down from 120 to 50. Thankfully, Blizzard Entertainment has finally revealed more details of what this is going to look like in terms of time spent leveling up, a new starting experience, and changes to Heirloom gear. Although the new level cap is now level 50, Blizzard has stated that the time it takes to reach it is only about half of the current grind....

Such is the case with CBS’s potentially paranormal procedural Evil. Created by ViacomCBS powerhouse couple Robert and Michelle King (of The Good Wife and The Good Fight), Evil premiered on CBS in September 2019 of last year to some reasonable acclaim. Then, on Oct. 1, 2020, all 13 episodes of Evil season 1 arrived on Netflix and subscribers quickly took notice....

Rockstar Games is keeping fans waiting with bated breath over the future of the Grand Theft Auto series, with development of GTA 6 rumored, but currently unannounced. While many fans are eagerly looking forward to what the series will come up with next, at least one fan is looking back to San Andreas and imagining bringing it into the future. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas premiered way back on the PS2, though it has since been ported to other consoles and mobile devices....

When it comes to games that let players choose their own adventure, Detroit: Become Human (DBH) is among the top tier titles in its genre. Not only does the game look absolutely stunning with its realistic character design and dynamic world, it has some of the most complex yet effectively simple storytelling seen in a game. DBH has a whole host of trophies and endings to unlock, so players aren’t likely to get bored easily, as the game encourages several replays....

As you’re playing Devil May Cry 5 you may notice that throughout the game, there are secret missions hidden in various levels for players to find. These are distinguished by large red markings that are seemingly broken into pieces over the environment, but when you stand in the right spot to view them, it all comes together as one pattern. You’ll know when you’ve got it right as the marking will glow....

Devil May Cry 5 features a long list of challenges for players to complete, including its own set of achievements and trophies. Some of the achievements/trophies in the game require players to find hidden areas in certain levels, as is the case with Where the Red Orbs Grow. The description for the Where the Red Orbs grow trophy in Devil May Cry 5 says players need to collect red orbs from an “unexpected spot” in Mission 02....

Activision Blizzard is currently under investigation following accusations of harassment, discrimination, and fostering a hostile work environment. You can read more about the investigation here. Diablo Immortal doesn’t always make the most out of its MMO design elements, but the game’s use of World Bosses is honestly pretty cool. There’s nothing like seeing a server full of players come together to defeat some of the biggest bads in the game. Of course, few World Boss fights in Diablo Immortal are as rewarding and confusing as the battles against Ancient Nightmare and Lord Martanos....
