Many lifelong Pokémon fans consider Detective Pikachu a dream they thought would never happen. The idea of a live-action movie featuring realistic depictions of fan favorites and series staples was a pipe dream. These dark, pandemic days can be difficult to endure as a kid who thrives on adventure. However, thanks to an earnest father and generosity from developer Rare, one six-year-old Sea of Thieves fan was able to have a pirate adventure in real life. Known as Trent on Twitter, the father reached out to Rare back in November, asking the studio for a little help during lockdown. The father explained how his six-year-old son Otto was a massive Sea of Thieves fan, and he had been isolated from his friends for some time and suffering from cabin fever....

For years, fans waited with bated breath for a new Star Wars: Battlefront to be officially announced. When that confirmation came two years ago, it wasn’t long before concern set in — was the series about to be turned into an unofficial Battlefield spin-off? Over the last week, Battlefield and Medal of Honor fans have received a lot of exciting news, with new content coming for both franchises. Medal of Honor: Warfighter, a sequel to the 2010 reboot, was officially unveiled at GDC last week and with it, DICE finally announced the Battlefield 3 DLC plans. The latter is something some fans have gotten vocal about over the last few months because of an apparent lack of updates and DLC since the game released in October....

Dishonored 2 is Bethesda’s showstopper at E3 2016 and Arkane reveals a ton of details about the game’s characters and mechanics during an extended gameplay demo on stage. Bethesda may have only shared a cinematic trailer for Dishonored 2 at last year’s E3, but this year the company kept the game on stage for nearly 30 minutes. From a detailed look at the environment and character models to a full mission with the new protagonist, Dishonored 2 was the star of Bethesda’s show....

Fans of Disney Villainous have cause for excitement, as a new expansion is coming soon. The expansion, titled Despicable Plots, features Gaston from Beauty and the Beast as the star of the show, but there are two more new villains coming alongside him. After purchasing the upcoming expansion, players will also gain access to the Wicked Stepmother, also known as Lady Tremaine, from Cinderella and the Horned King from Black Cauldron....
