After the reveal of Master Roshi in September, the season 3 roster for Dragon Ball FighterZ now only has two spots open. During the playoffs stream for Spain’s DBFZ National Championships FighterZ producer Tomoko Hiroki confirmed that information on the remaining two characters will be revealed on December 20. “We know everyone is waiting for more information about the FighterZ Pass three remaining characters. We’ll make an announcement during Japan’s playoffs that will be held on December 20,” said Hiroki....
Electronic Arts’ own subscription service, EA Play, is now available for Steam users to subscribe to giving users access to some major EA titles already on the popular digital store front with more games on the way. Back in June, EA held a digital showcase featuring updates on some anticipated games as well as the surprise confirmation of Skate 4. A portion of the show was dedicated to EA making its games available on Steam including the divisive horror title Dead Space 3....
Although Fortnite is not known for having an overwhelming number of bugs, a few do crop up here and there that need addressing. One of the latest is an SMG bug that is forcing players to reload multiple times before being able to fire the weapon again. Epic has since acknowledged the bug and promises that a fix will release with the next update, patch 3.6, which should go live in the next week or so....

Yesterday, the leadership behind a Fallout 76 roleplaying group, called Free States Militia, was suspended from Facebook until February 7. During the lockdown, historic numbers of people found entertainment, solace, and community in gaming. However, the political environment has been such that Free States Militia has been removed from Facebook not once, but twice. In October of last year, a group of Fallout 76 players had their personal Facebook accounts suspended or banned from Facebook....
Many great games were released in 2020, but not all of them were appreciated for long. Fall Guys released in the summer and was instantly popular. However, as weeks passed, there weren’t nearly as many players anymore. To get people interested in the game again, the developers have worked hard to make Season 3 the best it could be and they have done a phenomenal job. There are holiday-themed items for players to earn and new mini-games that are very fun....
Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has been the talk of the town over the last few weeks. Only a week after its official launch, Fall Guys is celebrating impressive sales numbers on Steam, but of course, that means the game is full of players, and the development team has needed to do extra work to keep up with the player demand. Today, Fall Guys developer Mediatonic detailed some fixes and updates coming to the game that will improve the player experience, including adding a popular mini-game from the beta....
Fall Guys release date on Xbox consoles and Switch has been indefinitely delayed. Originally slated to launch this summer, the team recently announced it needs a bit more time to get features such as cross-play functioning properly. A new release date for the Xbox and Switch ports was not provided. However, Fall Guys plans to keep on track with Season 4.5 and bring two new Rounds to Fall Guys in the near future....
In the Fallout series, there are numerous creepy locations for the player to explore. In Fallout 4, these areas are spread throughout Boston and the surrounding area. Exploring the Commonwealth might bring players upon unique locations, such as a cabin full of cats or a replica of Stonehenge made with cars. While these areas seem lighthearted and fun, there are some locations that will send a chill down the player’s spine....

With Fallout 76 poised to launch on November 14, Bethesda is keen to work with popular streamers and show off the title to the masses. A star-studded stream was arranged with Ninja, Logic, and Justin Roiland (playing both Rick and Morty), which seemed like a surefire recipe for success. Unfortunately, the three (or four, kind of) streamers combined into a hodgepodge mess of awkward silences, jokes that didn’t land, and massive technical issues....
While the growth and popularity of crowdfunding services like Kickstarter and the recently launched Fig have helped make many dream video game projects a reality, they are not without their pitfalls. As one Star Wars fan quickly learned, sometimes launching a Kickstarter may seem like a good idea, but any perceived flaws in the campaign will soon turn it from a promising project to an utter failure. Some of my fondest memories are scurrying home from school, dumping my bag on the stairs nonchalantly - a price I would pay later in the day - running up with a thud for every step, slipping on my cheap, ‘gaming’ headset, and booting up some Counter-Strike: Source before loading into a sweet game of Jailbreak. It’s what sparked my later adoration for Garry’s Mod, something I’ve unashamedly put over a thousand hours into at this point....
Dirt 5 foregoes nearly all of the formalities of rally racing for a full-on arcade experience, and a damn good one at that. The racing game has much more in common with Codemasters Cheshire’s previous racer, the criminally underrated Onrush, than other games in the series. Instead of racing against the clock on rally stages, most races have you take on 11 other drivers in circuit or point-to-point races featuring plenty of drifting, crashing, and high-flying jumps....
Even though that other cyberpunk game didn’t turn out to be the absolute gem that everyone anticipated it being, it’s hard to imagine that the genre itself will be fading into obscurity anytime soon. There’s something about a futuristic dystopian setting that just works well in video games, from dungeon crawlers to pixelated open-worlds to even point-and-click-adventures. Disjunction - from developer Ape Tribe Games - is just the latest title set within the cyberpunk genre with its pixelated, top-down gameplay and focus on stealth....
