Journey to the Savage Planet released on console and PC almost exactly one year ago. Next week, a brand new version of the game will launch exclusively on Stadia. Journey to the Savage Planet: Employee of the Month Edition will include both the original game and the expansion Hot Garbage DLC, which released as a post-game campaign last April. In 2013, Capcom partnered with Ninja Theory to reboot its hack and slash action franchise Devil May Cry with the polarizing DmC. Despite being one of the most anticipated upcoming games, Diablo 4 still doesn’t have a release date. Doom Eternal is the latest in the long line of Doom games, and the sequel to 2016’s soft reboot of the franchise. As such, it features many of the same enemies from the previous installment in the series, although alongside various visual and mechanical updates. Not all of these changes are for the best, however. While some of Doom Eternal’s demons have been given upgrades and improvements, others have been made a little bit less interesting than their 2016 counterparts....

The latest entry in id Software’s iconic shooter, Doom Eternal, was one of the most critically-acclaimed games of 2020. Hosting a Dungeons & Dragons for a group of players is already nerve-wracking. You have to worry about their characters, the world, plot, and if the campaign is even fun. That alone puts some people away from being a Game Master. This can be further exasperated with sandbox campaigns, or D&D campaigns that focus on creating a canvas for the players to explore and exploit. Getting over the hurdles and initial concerns of hosing a sandbox campaign, however, reveal some of the most fun you can have in any tabletop game....
