Fallout 4’s first PC mod aims to improve the graphics of the game which has been a topic of hot debate since the game was announced a few months ago at E3 2015. Even as the embargo for Fallout 4 reviews has lifted earlier this morning, an eager fan is already working on a new mod that will enhance an area that has been a topic of debate among fans. Known as the Enhanced Wasteland Preset, this mod aims to update the graphics in Fallout 4 through improved lighting and textures, and interestingly enough, the mod is less than 1 MB in size....

Over the past 24 hours, fans have speculated that a new Fallout game was on the way, and this morning Bethesda officially confirmed the next installment in the post-apocalyptic franchise: Fallout 76. Fallout 76 appears to take place on or around the tercentenary, the 300th anniversary, of the founding of the United States, hence the 76 imagery. This is what appears to be the “Reclamation Day” for Vault 76 residents. If the music playing in the trailer is any indication, the game may also take place around West Virginia and the Blue Ridge Mountains....

About a week ago, Microsoft unveiled a special Fallout 76 Xbox One X bundle during its Inside Xbox presentation at gamescom 2018, putting the bundle up for pre-order shortly after the announcement was made. Now, the tech firm has also revealed a new white edition of its Xbox One X bundle with the post-apocalyptic multiplayer game, as well as a white hued Xbox One Elite controller, with both coming this fall....

We’re just a week out from the release of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla but it looks like we should already be preparing ourselves for the next Ubisoft sequel to drop. According to the Microsoft Store, Far Cry 6 will arrive on May 25 at 8 PM EST. The Devil May Cry series has seen a revival of sorts over the past year, with the announcement of Devil May Cry 5 at E3 and an upcoming musical based on the series that will be performed in Japan. Soon, the Devil May Cry series will be entering the world of animation, as Adi Shankar has announced that he is helming a cartoon series based on the franchise. Adi Shankar revealed in an interview with IGN that he is adapting the Devil May Cry video games into an animated series and that it will share the same multiverse as the Castlevania series that he produced for Netflix, which he refers to as the “bootleg multiverse....

Devolver Digital today revealed Phantom Abyss – an asynchronous multiplayer game that looks a lot like Indiana Jones. You’ll be tasked with running through trap-laden temples as fast as you can in an attempt to pillage its treasures and steal hidden relics. Each level is procedurally generated, and once somebody beats it, it’s closed off forever. That adds a level of urgency to your actions – although you’ll still need to be on the lookout for deadly traps around every turn....

A brand new game from Paradox Interactive hit the scene recently and its name is Empire of Sin. Set in 1920s Chicago and centered on the Prohibition gang wars, reviews of Empire of Sin have been mixed so far. The split reviews are hardly surprising, especially since Empire of Sin is a bit of a departure from Paradox’s usual fare. Though still an extensive strategy game, it was developed by a fairly small studio for such a large project....
