Shades of the Nephalem recently heralded the start of Diablo III’s Season 22, bringing with it multiple changes to Patch 2.6.10, along with a brand new Season Theme, Journey and Cosmetic Rewards, Conquests, changes to Haedrig’s Gifts, and more. Kanai’s Cube has been given a fourth slot, and a long list of item changes, bug fixes, and other miscellaneous updates are included, as well. Season 22’s theme is Shades of the Nephalem, or more specifically, shadows, and involve Shrines and Pylons....

The last time Game Rant sat down with Dimension 20 Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan, the world was a different place. Doom Eternal’s “The Ancient Gods” DLC brings three new missions to the game, which means many new collectibles to be found. Across these three missions, there are 13 physical Codex pages and three Support Runes to be discovered. This guide will detail the locations of the former. Double Fine recently gave gamers a first look at their Kickstarter-funded adventure game, Broken Age, which features the parallel exploits of Space Boy and Sacrifice Girl as they attempt to conquer the menaces within their respective worlds. The game was originally set for a Q2 2013 release, but due to funding issues the schedule has been extended to September. By the end of Broken Age’s Kickstarter run, the studio had raised over $3 million with which to fund the development of the game, and it is is still considered one of the greatest video game Kickstarter successes so far, along with titles like Wasteland 2 and Shadowrun Returns....

After recently getting traded from Team Liquid to Team SoloMid, professional League of Legends bot laner Yiliang Peter “Doublelift” Peng opened up about his time with Team Liquid in a vlog. The legendary attack damage carry revealed he didn’t want Team Liquid to drop Jake Kevin “Xmithie” Puchero after the 2019 season. After the addition of Doublelift at the end of 2017, Team Liquid dominated North America for what was essentially two straight years....

The Dread Wolf reveal was one of the most shocking and unexpected twists in the Dragon Age franchise. The existence of the elven pantheon and that the Dread Wolf was none other than the Inquisitor’s companion, Solas, changed everything about how Thedas is understood. This reveal didn’t drop out of nowhere. With E3 2018 in full swing, all the developers and publisher are bringing something new to the table. Microsoft, for their part, isn’t pulling any punches this year, showing off a massive amount of games with a number of world premieres. One such premiere comes in the form of a trailer for Dying Light 2, sequel to the popular parkour zombie title. The reveal doesn’t come as too much of a shock, the sequel had already bee rumored for an E3 reveal....

It’s been revealed that Dying Light 2 will not include firearms or vehicles, instead having the player rely more on freerunning and melee weapons. Techland - the developer of Dying Light 2 - uploaded an AMA to YouTube on Monday in which the game’s lead designer Tymon Smektała answered the most frequently asked question from the Dying Light community regarding the sequel. One notable point of interest is when Smektała reveals that there will be no traditional firearms or vehicles in Dying Light 2, unlike the game’s predecessor....

Patrick Söderlund, Chief Design Officer for EA, explained in an interview on April 13th that EA has recognized that, “we made some mistakes,” in regards to the release of Star Wars Battlefront II in November of 2017. As fans prepared for the release of of the game in late 2017, and various aspects of the game were released, consumers became more and more concerned with the state of micro-transactions. Many players saw the game in its current state as encouraging the spending of real money in order to progress in the game, which caused a significant amount of controversy prior to the release date....

In a shocking and humorous April Fool’s Day announcement, the Project Eevee Twitter account showed off screenshots and promotional material featuring the Pokemon Eevee facing off in Tekken 7. In the screenshot, a large Eevee costume is shown squaring off against Devil Jin, one of the returning characters in Tekken 7. While the screenshot is very clearly fake, the sight of Eevee and Jin fighting in a field of rubble is extremely funny....

Epic Games is offering two more free games, as both ABZU and Rising Storm 2: Vietnam are available for a limited time on the Epic Games Store. They’re very different experiences, one being a visually-driven adventure title and the other a tactical first-person shooter, so players can pick depending on their preference. The additions were announced via the Epic Games Store Twitter today. They can be downloaded now, and will only be available until October 15....

In Episode #16 of the H3 After Dark podcast, Ethan and Hila Klein of h3h3Productions hosted Twitch streamers Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo and Maya Higa. The Kleins host multiple podcasts besides After Dark, which is a more informal offering compared to the main H3 Podcast. A considerable portion of the conversation surrounded both parties’ relationships with Twitch, namely the Kleins who stopped streaming on the platform last year. Mizkif eventually asked the Kleins why they stopped hosting their podcast on Twitch....

Godzilla vs. Kong director Adam Wingard said his Face/Off sequel is meant to reunite Nicolas Cage and John Travolta again. Wingard hopes the stars will approve his script to reprise their iconic roles one more time. Back in February, director Adam Wingard revealed he is working on a script to a straight follow-up of John Woo’s Face/Off, released in 1997. Initially, Wingard clarified that his project is no reboot or remake of the classic action movie, but a direct sequel, yet no word for the potential cast was spoken then....

Earlier this week, Microsoft officially acquired ZeniMax Media, which includes its subsidiaries like Bethesda. This means that all of Bethesda’s games now fall under the Xbox umbrella, in turn giving Microsoft some big new titles that it can add to its Xbox Game Pass service. Specific Bethesda games that will be coming to Xbox Game Pass haven’t been confirmed just yet, but new Microsoft Store listings may have let the cat out of the bag....
