Yesterday the official Blizzard forums for Diablo 3 were taken over with discussion, complaints and concern over a game-breaking exploit. By timely using a combination of abilities, players using Wizard characters could literally render themselves completely invincible to enemy attacks for as long as they wish. The exploit could be used in hardcore mode as well, allowing players with the know-how the easiest path to success. It took nearly a day but Blizzard is fixing that issue, just in time for another to arise....

Disney’s slate of upcoming projects includes a live-action reimagining of the studio’s animated film Peter Pan. Joining the cast of Peter Pan and Wendy is Jim Gaffigan in the role of Mr. Smee, the loyal sidekick to Captain Hook. Based on the classic novel by author J. M. Barrie, Disney’s animated Peter Pan film centered on a mischievous boy named Peter who brings Wendy Darling and her two brothers to the island of Never Land, where they can remain young forever with the Lost Boys....

When Divinity: Original Sin was released on PC back in June 2014, it had already developed a cult status among its Kickstarter backers. The fact that its audience has quickly grown upon full launch, ambitiously declaring it to be one of the (if not the) best RPGs of the year, surprised quite a few. Hydrosophist is a skill tree in Divinity: Original Sin 2 that deals with, well, water. That is pretty obvious, but what isn’t obvious are the skills that a player who chooses this skill tree gets access to. Like the majority of RPGs out there, water in Divinity 2 has a focus on healing. Multiple skills in the tree allow a player to heal their allies. The Hydrosophist skill tree is also filled with pretty devastating attacks....

Indie RPG Divinity Original Sin 2, the sequel to critically acclaimed Divinity Original Sin that was fully funded via Kickstarter in only 12 hours, released a new trailer today. In it, it was revealed that the game will be coming to PS4 and Xbox One this summer. Divinity Original Sin 2, which has received just as much critical acclaim as its predecessor, originally released on the PC in September of last year....

Ubisoft and Massive Entertainment are starting to share more information regarding The Division 2, introducing the True Sons enemy faction. The True Sons is a militaristic faction made up of “radical mutineers and trained criminals, led by the traitor Antwon Ridgeway. The group believes that “might makes right” in the most literal sense, making them one of The Division 2’s most lethal threats. As with the factions in The Division, the events of the Black Friday smallpox epidemic are what cause the otherwise loyal soldiers of the True Sons to betray their country and turn cruel to the utmost degree....

When Doom Eternal roared onto PCs and consoles in 2020, it immediately established itself as one of the highest-rated games of the year. With some great new games coming up, the developers have decided to remind their players that they aren’t finished unleashing Hell (literally) from the top of the podium. Yesterday, we reported that game studio Double Fine had decided to offer up the future of their next big project to fans through a Kickstarter program. Intended to fund not only the game’s six-to-eight month development but also a documentary by 2 Player Productions the fan-funded project has already become a huge success. Blowing away the projects meagre (by industry standards) $400,000 goal, in eight hours, fans have shown that they believe in Double Fine - as well as the exciting opportunity that’s been presented....

Players of Bioware games will know that the studio’s games tend to involve a lot of choices that need to be made from the player; choices that can have fairly significant consequences on the outcome of various story beats and the plot overall. Dragon Age: Origins may have some of the most decisions to make out of all their games. Twitter user nerdspicey, however, has decided to leave all the choices made during the course of the game up to chance....

Bandai Namco is continuing to add more combatants to Dragon Ball FighterZ, and two notable characters are joining the roster soon. A V-Jump scan leak outed Super Baby 2 as one of those upcoming playable fighters, hyping fans of the GT series. Now, thanks to an all-new trailer, the publisher has officially announced the character’s release date, and it’s right around the corner. Kefla, Ultra Instinct Goku, and Master Roshi have all become playable fighters since Dragon Ball FighterZ launched in 2018, bolstering the roster with powerful new options for players....

The meat of Dragon Ball’s Golden Frieza Arc revolves around Frieza’s invasion of Earth after obtaining his all-new Golden Form. Said invasion leads to an all-out battle between the Z-warriors and the Frieza Force army, and in the end, Goku and Vegeta utilize their new Super Saiyan Blue transformation to fight Golden Frieza in separate one-on-one bouts. There are new Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot screenshots that display moments from this battle that the game will adapt through its upcoming Golden Frieza DLC, more formally known as A New Power Awakens — Part 2....

Square Enix finally gave fans a peek at their upcoming Avengers game, leaving everyone to ask: Where’s Hawkeye? The Cinematic trailer featured all of our familiar favorites looking much as they did in The Avengers film from 2012. Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, and Bruce Banner, later the Hulk, all took some piece of the action as an attack on San Francisco played out. Meanwhile, Clint Barton, also known as Hawkeye, was nowhere to be seen....

EA had plenty of good things to show off during its EA Play E3 2017 show, but it didn’t stop with revealing new games and major expansions. EA also announced that the company will be donating $1 million to anti-bullying charities and prevention groups following EA’s Play to Give event. Electronic Arts executive vice president Patrick Soderlund discusses video game remasters, teasing that remastered versions of the Mass Effect games are in development. One of the most popular series of the last generation was the award-winning Mass Effect trilogy from BioWare and Electronic Arts. With Mass Effect: Andromeda not set to launch until 2017 at the earliest, fans of the franchise have been clamoring for the original games to be remastered for current-generation hardware to help tide them over....

Facebook announces Facebook Instant Games, a collection of titles which can be played within Facebook Messenger or the Facebook News Feed on iOS and Android. While Facebook is mostly associated with its purchase of Oculus when it comes to the gaming industry, the communications giant is now launching a brand new gaming platform which ties in nicely with both Facebook Messenger and the Facebook news feed. The cross-platform service is based on HTML5, and is now launching with 17 different games available in its catalogue which can be accessed straight from Facebook via a controller icon on both Android and iOS devices....
