The GTA Online “New Day” roleplay server held its first state election and, as you can probably already guess, it didn’t go so well. As reported by Polygon, the New Day server tends to deal with more serious stories and roleplays, rather than the more outlandish ones you can expect to see in GTA. That meant that a state election was the perfect type of action for the server. The two candidates were Charlie Bradstock and Andrew McKinley, with Bradstock looking to sell more merchandise and McKinley wanting to improve the security and law of the area....

The formula of Fall Guys is simple: pit 60 clumsy beans against one another in a series of elaborate races, puzzles, and survival scenarios until there’s only one left. It’s battle royale at its most brutal, but the crux of this gameplay loop is the reward given to those skilled (or lucky) players that manage to win the entire episode, the elusive crown. Within the game, crowns serve as the ultimate motivator, as players can use them to buy awesome cosmetics and collaboration content, but recently a debate has cropped up over how the game handles crowns, splitting the otherwise wholesome player base into two distinct groups....

Fall Guys has been unstoppable since it launched on PC and PS4 a few weeks back, and a recent tweet from PlayStation UK confirms just how huge the game has become. According to the tweet, Fall Guys has officially become the most downloaded PlayStation Plus game of all time. This is quite the feat, as Rocket League also saw a PlayStation Plus launch and seemed to take the world by storm....

Following yesterday’s announcement that Fall Guys would be making its long-awaited jump from the PC and PlayStation 4 to the Nintendo Switch, it seems Mediatonic’s colorful battle royale will also be coming to Xbox. The announcement was made via Xbox Wire and claims the revered multiplayer game’s release is slated for this Summer, falling within the same timeframe as the title’s debut on the Switch. Players will be able to access the game on their Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S, where it seems it’ll boast all the same features as the game’s currently exclusive versions on PC and PlayStation....

Vaults are featured throughout the Fallout series and are generally inhabited by dwellers whose ancestors were lucky enough to enter a vault before the bombs fell. Vault-Tec was in charge of the vaults, and they proceeded to conduct some questionable experiments on the residents. Combat improvements have been one of the most noticeable changes from Fallout 3 to Fallout 4. While Fallout: New Vegas did add iron sights and weapon mods to the franchise, Fallout 4 doubled-down on these elements while also sprucing up the enemy roster. One of the coolest things about playing video games in our modern era is the ability to completely alter gameplay, graphics, and in-game items with the use of mods. While fans can practically rebuild most titles from the ground up with their own coding, the Fallout series usually gets the most serious attention from programmers. For instance, a couple of days ago, a New Vegas re-imagining called Fallout: The Frontier was teased with a mod trailer, and it adds new missions to the game with a snowy nuclear winter setting as its backdrop....

The last episode of WandaVision just released this week, and many fans are not ready to let go. The series inspired digital artist Bruno Alexander to re-imagine two of the characters in the Disney+ series as Pokemon masters. The fanart was inspired by the idea of Wanda creating the Hex in Pokemon and exploring how two of the main characters would look like. One big surprise announcement at Sony’s PlayStation 5 showcase event last month was Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition, a PS5 launch title introducing Vergil as a playable character that will also include new difficulty modes and make use of next-gen console hardware advancements. Since that announcement there have been discussions about how the game improves over its current-gen version, and yesterday its range of performances was clarified. In a Resetera thread started September 16 to discuss the game’s announcement, Capcom Vice President of Digital Platforms and Marketing William Yagi-Bacon decided to clarify concerns “with respect to resolution and frame rate” on both the PS5 and Xbox Series X....

New details about the graphical options in Devil May Cry 5: Special Editon on Xbox systems have been revealed, and the Series S version of the game won’t support ray tracing. Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition is an enhanced version of the original title for next-gen systems. In terms of content, the game will add Vergil as a playable character, though he is also being added to the existing version of Devil May Cry 5 for free via an update....

Video game publisher Devolver Digital, beyond the caliber of the games it publishes, became well-known for its showcases at gaming conventions after some creative and intentionally boundary-pushing presentations at E3 in the convention’s recent years. This year, of course, neither E3 nor Devolver were able to host in-person presentations for any upcoming games whatsoever, so in lieu of that, Devolver hosted a digital showcase on July 11th for some of its releases planned for the balance of this year....

Despite lacking any superpower to match most of the Avengers’ might, Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury has gone on to be one of the most beloved characters in the MCU since he first appeared in Iron Man. For that reason, rumors of a possible Nick Fury standalone series have been circling for a while, especially after Captain Marvel gave Jackson more screen time than any other Marvel movie. Thus, when Disney announced more Disney+ series that would add to the MCU’s Phase Four, it was no surprise to hear Jackson would star in his own Secret Invasion series....

Ubisoft Massive releases the full patch notes for The Division’s public test server 1.4 update, revealing a huge list of changes that will potentially come to the game.
