Za/um Studio has confirmed patch 1.2 is just around the corner for Disco Elysium: The Final Cut, but some of the pending bug fixes are causing more problems than others. Players on both PS4 and PS5 are running into a frustrating bug involving the detective’s car, and it’s keeping them from progressing with a key item. Disco Elysium: The Final Cut just launched at the end of March, and folks are already encountering some serious hiccups hurting the experience....

Arkane Studio’s founder, Raphael Colantonio, has formed a new company dubbed WolfEye Studios, and now, Dishonored co-founder Harvey Smith is working on a project with the Dishonored and Prey developers over at Arkane Austin. It’s not Deathloop, and it’s not yet confirmed, so what’s on the table as of now is up for speculation. Speaking to Vandal, Smith revealed that he had returned to Arkane Austin after a four-year hiatus where he worked with Arkane Lyon for Dishonored 2....

In Ubisoft’s The Division series, these eagle-eyed specialists can help Division Agents secure the win against nefarious factions without having to get up close and personal. Moreover, in The Division 2’s post-apocalyptic capital of Washington DC, Sharpshooters can turn the tide with their handy sniper rifles. However, players interested in taking up the Sharpshooter might find the Specialization overwhelming....

There are many players of The Division 2 who are eagerly awaiting the promised unlocking of World Tier 5 in the game, and while developer Massive Entertainment is promising that it is coming soon, it will not be released before some major bugs are taken care of and balancing is in the right spot. In Massive Entertainment’s first episode of its signature weekly “State of the Game” stream since the launch of The Division 2, the developer said that the release of the game went over with very few issues (and issues like the netcode bug getting fixed quickly)....

The first footage for Dragon Ball FighterZ debuted today at the Microsoft E3 2017 press event. The game is being developed by Arc System Works, the studio behind the Guilty Gear series. As a result of borrowing the same gorgeous, fluid style of Guilty Gear, it is arguably the best a Dragon Ball fighting game has ever looked. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot launched earlier this year to relatively positive reviews, with many fans of the long-running Dragon Ball Z franchise enjoying the action-RPG retelling of the classic anime/manga. In an effort to capitalize on the game’s success, Bandai Namco Entertainment is releasing the first major DLC expansion for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot very soon, with the “A New Power Awakens (Part 1)” DLC launching next week. Bandai Namco has revealed that the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot Super DLC release date is Tuesday, April 28....

The Square Enix/Omega Force collaboration Dragon Quest Heroes 2 gets an official release date for the PC as well as a new overview trailer that teases the game’s adventures. Though the high-powered hack-and-slash game Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below technically received its official sequel back in May of 2016, only Japanese gamers were able to get their hands on it. Developed by Omega Force, the same brains behind the tactical action series Dynasty Warriors, and gaming industry giants Square Enix, Dragon Quest Heroes 2 was clamored for by fans across the globe....

In a surprising collaboration between Techland and Psyonix, Dying Light: The Following players can now download a Rocket League skin for their dune buggy. Odd video game collaborations are nothing new, but the latest may be one of the most unexpected pairings yet. Rocket League developer Psyonix has teamed with Dying Light developer Techland to add Rocket League DLC to the zombie-infested parkour action game. The first Dynasty Warriors trailer came out way back in 2018, promising a faithful movie adaptation of Koei Tecmo’s famous hack n’ slash fighting franchise. Then COVID happened and everything got put on hold. Now that vaccines are rolling out and the virus seems to have subsided (in China, at least), HMV Digital China Group LTD has decided the time is right for Dynasty Warriors to make its debut. Hong Kong will get its first screenings of Dynasty Warriors on April 29....

Frontier has released a statement regarding the roadmap of open-world space flight simulation Elite Dangerous. The ongoing development of the upcoming expansion pack Odyssey has been understandably impacted by the events of 2020, as well as the current UK lockdown, and its release will now be slightly delayed. Originally set to be released early this year, the new timeline shows Alpha access for PC players is now expected in the early spring, with a full launch currently slated for late spring....

In a surprise move, Epic Games, the creator of Fortnite, has acquired Mediatonic, the company behind 2020’s breakout hit Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. Epic broke the news of the acquisition with an official announcement this morning. Mediatonic’s multiplayer party game Fall Guys has been a runaway success since launching in August 2020.
