Electronic Arts is postponing its EA Play Live event by one week. The company made the announcement on social media along with a message in support of the ongoing protests against racial inequality. EA Play Live 2020 will now take place on June 18th at 4pm PT. In lieu of an event in Los Angeles where attendees could get hands-on time with its upcoming games, Electronic Arts announced a fully livestreamed event that will act almost exactly as its usual E3 press conference....

With EA Play to Give, video games publisher Electronic Arts is donating $1 million to charity as well as hosting in-game events in Battlefield 4, Star Wars Battlefront, and more. For E3 this year, games publisher Electronic Arts revealed that it would be doing things a bit differently. Instead of its usual way of doing things, the company would instead hold a press conference before allowing gamers (rather than just the gaming press) to get hands on time with its new titles, even allowing YouTubers and streamers to post footage of the games to the web....

Destiny 2’s The Dawning winter event will be coming to an end on January 1st, but until then, players may want to take advantage of an easy loot farm in order to stock up on Enhancement Cores and gear, including trying for multiple rolls of the event-specific machine gun, Avalanche. This farming method is specific to The Dawning because it takes advantage of the baking activity during the event. Far Cry 6 has been officially revealed, and with it, two of the game’s main characters: the father and son duo Anton and Diego Castillo. Anton, portrayed by Giancarlo Esposito, is Far Cry 6’s primary antagonist, a ruthless dictator ruling over the island of Yara. Diego, on the other hand, is Anton’s teenage son. The Far Cry 6 reveal trailer establishes the relationship between the characters well, and particularly just how menacing Anton really is....

The full-blown remake of the PlayStation 2 and Xbox cult-classic, Destroy All Humans! finally has a release date. The game, originally released by the now-defunct Pandemic in 2005, is now being remade by Black Forest Games in Germany and is being published by THQ Nordic. THQ Nordic scooped up the rights to Destroy All Humans! along with over 23 other THQ titles back in 2013, and then announced last year that it would be remaking Destroy All Humans!...

This week, Microsoft announced a trial of a digital refund policy for Xbox One and Windows 10, and video game fans in general have been happy about the prospect of getting refunds on below-par digital products. However, not everyone only sees the positives in the move, and several independent game developers have raised issues with the fledgling refund policy. Chief among them is acclaimed studio The Chinese Room. The BAFTA-winning developer behind such beloved titles as Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and Dear Esther specifically talked about how the new policy could affect independent studios whose games do not fit a traditional gameplay model....

After several delays and a handful of unfortunate scandals, The Last Of Us: Part II’s release is nearly here. Soon, we’ll be able to wander around Naughty Dog’s hellish, mushroom zombie-populated dystopia once again and begin poking bad guys with all manner of pointy objects. It should be a depressing blast! Id Software has announced that Doom Eternal is getting a single-player horde mode in place of the previously planned Invasion mode. The announcement comes from id Software’s official Twitter account, where they released a statement regarding the development of Doom Eternal and its future updates. Within this statement, the biggest piece of news is the fact that the previously-revealed Invasion mode is cancelled and will be replaced with a single-player horde mode....

Dr DisResepect has become one of the most influential and popular streamers on Twitch, as he’s reached over 4 million followers on the popular streaming platform. He is known to play a myriad of games, as Doc mentioned not being impressed with Valorent, but has been enjoying the game as of late. But mainly he is known for battle royales. Next to nothing is known about Dragon Age 4, not even its proper title, and there’s a few reasons behind that. Previous reports indicate that Dragon Age Joplin Project (its code name) was cancelled and would’ve seen players take on the roles of Spies in the Tevinter Imperium.
