EA CFO Blake Jorgensen reveals that the company has a new IP in the works, and hints that fans may see the new IP for the first time at E3 2016 next month. In its most recent earnings report, Electronic Arts revealed that the company has enjoyed great success in the past fiscal year. Electronic Arts also confirmed when fans can expect to see a number of big games release within the next year or so, though EA’s slate seems to consist almost entirely of new entries in established franchises....

There’s been a lot of excitement surrounding Ouya, but there’s been just as much scepticism as well. The first ever Android console was one of Kickstarter’s biggest success stories in 2012, bringing in an astonishing $8,596,474 from 63,416 individual backers. Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered launched way back in August of 2020, although folks in New Zealand and Australia were plagued with connectivity issues – rendering its multiplayer mode unusable. Square Enix then pulled the game from all digital storefronts in the region as it worked to solve the problem. Now, nearly eight months later, Crystal Chronicles Remastered is finally back, this time with full multiplayer support. Players in New Zealand and Australia will now find the game on both the Nintendo eShop and the PlayStation Store....

Baldur’s Gate 3’s Early Access period is almost here, giving players their first look at Larian’s new RPG. On October 6, players will be able to enter the game and explore Dungeons and Dragons’ Forgotten Realms setting alone or with friends. Baldur’s Gate 3 is based on the D&D Fifth Edition ruleset, and uses many of the same spells, races, and classes. BG3’s Early Access launch will have eight races to choose from, most of which come with additional subraces....

Despite being cancelled earlier this year, development on co-op RPG Fable Legends may continue following Microsoft’s discussions with ex-Lionhead Studios employees. Earlier this year, fans of the longstanding Fable series were shocked when free to play co-op RPG Fable Legends was cancelled following several years in development, while its developer, Lionhead Studios, was also shut down. Hanno Lemke, the General Manager of Microsoft Studios in Europe explained that the decision had been made after “much consideration” and though things didn’t look particularly bright for the studio or the cancelled PC and Xbox One game, Microsoft said that it was still “in discussions” with the ex-Lionhead employees....

For some absurd reason, Fallout 3 has not come to Game Pass despite Microsoft’s recent acquisition of Bethesda. A couple weeks ago, the Capital Wasteland mod coming to Fallout 4 was canceled due to possible copyright infringement and an inability to use audio from the original game, leaving fans to wonder what this meant for the similar New Vegas project. A Fallout 4 parody cartoon joins the ever-increasing ranks of things that have made fun of Half-Life 3’s development cycle, by making a visual joke from the future. Fallout 4 may only be a few months old, but Bethesda’s latest entry to the post-apocalyptic series is no stranger to parody videos. A new Fallout 4 parody came out this week which not only makes fun of life in the post-apocalyptic commonwealth, but even manages to take a swing at Valve for their perpetual production of the long-awaited Half-Life 3....

Fallout 76’s Public Test Server returns tomorrow for eager vault dwellers to get their hands on upcoming content. Specifically, the Player Test Server will include “the entire Steel Reign questline,” according to Bethesda, which will conclude the Brotherhood of Steel story that began with the Steel Dawn update so many moons ago. In addition, the PTS will also include the new Legendary Crafting system that was mentioned a little while ago, as well as the legendary Attribute rebalance, and the Meat Week Seasonal Event that’s not scheduled to hit the regular game servers until later this summer....
