The Hitman games have been entertaining people for almost 15 years. Playing as trained assassin Agent 47, Hitman fans have killed marks in a variety of ways including poisoning them with bad fish, shoving them out of windows, and killing them with a good old fashioned bullet from a sniper rifle. This gameplay has proved to be massively popular, having spawned two feature films and several spin-off games, such as Hitman Go, Hitman Sniper Challenge, and Hitman: Sniper, the latter of which was released on mobile devices earlier this month....

The next official Dungeons & Dragons campaign is called Baldur’s Gate: Descent into Avernus and it will involve a journey back to the famous city of Fearun. The players will eventually need to descend into the underworld in order to take on an extradimensional threat to the city. It has now been revealed that Descent into Avernus will act as a prequel to the upcoming Baldur’s Gate III. Baldur’s Gate III is being developed by Larian Studios of Divinity: Original Sin....

While it’s only been available for a short time, Anthem has already found itself the center of multiple controversies. One of the most notorious is an issue with the PlayStation 4 version of the game, where closing out of it causes a full system crash. With some PS4 gamers worried about the crashing potentially bricking their console, Sony has reportedly gone as far as to offer refunds to those who have purchased the game digitally....

Crowdfunding sites such as Kickstarter have been great avenues for new projects like Yacht Club Games’ Shovel Knight, as well as spiritual successors for popular franchises like Koji Igarashi’s Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. Last month, Yoshitaka Murayama and Junko Kawano launched a Kickstarter to fund a spiritual successor to Suikoden called Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, and the project recently passed $3 million in donations. The JRPG promises to have an intricate story and huge cast of characters, literally 108 as of this writing thanks to stretch goals....

While it’s entirely possible to play through Elden Ring and not even realize that the game’s massive world contains nine Legendary weapons, anyone interested in earning every Elden Ring achievement will need to hunt those weapons down at some point. Much like Elden Ring‘s collection of Legendary spells, the game’s Legendary weapons are rarely as impressive as you would assume they must be. It’s nice that Elden Ring allows you to turn any weapon into a viable late-game option, but it’s still a little odd that many Legendary weapons are only technically deserving of that impressive distinction....

Elden Ring has the chance to outdo the Dark Souls trilogy and the rest of the Souls-like franchise because of its attempt at open world gameplay. If FromSoftware manages to get open world right, it will be a series first for the prolific franchise, and could redefine the rest of the series going forward. As great as they were, the Dark Souls trilogy never reached the level of freedom that open world games can provide, and fans would love to see a souls-style game set in a vast and explorable space that they can tackle at their own pace....

Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk says that Twitter’s ads are bad and that people will soon be able to get rid of them for good. Musk has been making sweeping changes to the way Twitter works since he took over the company as part of a $44 billion buyout in 2022. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has taken the gaming world by storm, and became the most downloaded game on PlayStation Plus. With millions active in the battle royale game there are bound to be a few who cheat to win, but the devs at Mediatonic are putting plans in place to end cheating in Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. Fall Guys has been available for over a month, and it didn’t take long for players to report cheaters using hacks that help them to run faster or jump higher....

Fallout 4 brought many radical changes to the franchise. It saw the inclusion of a voiced protagonist as well as the ability to mod the game on consoles. While many of these changes were controversial, the title also brought back classic elements from past Bethesda games, such as multi-faction questlines and modular armor sets. Part of Fallout 4’s modular armor system involves finding mods to make other items better. Arguably the best mod in the game for non-modular pieces is ballistic weave, a mod that grants up to 110 extra Damage and Energy Resistance....

One pop culture mastermind uses assets from Bethesda’s Fallout 4 to recreate the second season trailer for Netflix’s original television series, Daredevil. Thanks to YouTuber UpIsNotJump, Matt Murdock and company are given the remake treatment in the post-apocalyptic title Fallout 4. Using in-game materials and a plethora of PC mods to recreate the pacing and visuals of Daredevil’s trailer for its upcoming second season, the video’s creator does a pretty solid job, particularly due to the fact that the official footage teasing the Netflix show came out less than a week ago....

One Fallout 4 modder decides to bring The Witcher to the Commonwealth wasteland, introducing Geralt’s gear from The Witcher 3 as fully craftable objects. Like many other Bethesda RPGs, Fallout 4 has truly managed to capture the imagination of the modding community. However, not every content creator is happy working on entirely new items for the title, instead deciding to bring other franchises into Fallout itself. Most recently, one modder has decided that Geralt’s gear from The Witcher 3 should be available within the post-apocalyptic RPG....

Fallout 76’s next season, Locked & Loaded, is set to roll out on April 27, but, in the meantime, the PTS is launching tomorrow. This PTS will center around the new features such as SPECIAL Loadouts, CAMP Slots, and the Daily Ops expansion. Playing the test server nets you a PTS-themed Pennant for your CAMP in the live version of the game, so you can brag about helping fine-tune the new features....

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hackers’ Memory will be coming to the Nintendo Switch and PC later on this year as part of a single game called Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition. The announcement for Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth Complete Edition was made at the Future of Digimon panel at Anime Expo 2019, where it was also revealed that a new game in the series was also in development....

Dirt 5 has had plenty to offer racing sim fans in the new console generation’s first few months, and now it has even more. After teasing Dirt 5’s next batch of content last week, Codemasters has released the Energy Content Pack today, along with a free update full of various fixes and improvements for the off-road racer. As previously detailed, the new pack is available on all platforms for owners of Dirt 5’s Amplified Edition and those who bought the Year One upgrade....
