After being nestled in the game industry for nearly 25 years, the publisher is looking towards the future and what they can offer their consumers in the form of new IPs. In fact, they may even bring back a few they have left in storage all these years. Newly promoted EA Labels president Frank Gilbeau made it clear during GamesCom that the publisher has more than just “time-tested titles” in the works....

Although there is a lot of uncertainty regarding just how many games will release in 2020 (and beyond), Electronic Arts feels confident that it will have plenty of software to offer its diverse group of fans. In its latest earnings call, the Battlefield and Madden publisher revealed that it plans to release 14 games before the end of its fiscal year. Like most gaming companies, Electronic Arts’ fiscal year ends in March 2021, so the publisher does have plenty of time to ship its products....

The Elder Scrolls Online’s upcoming Blackwood Chapter is set to introduce Mehrunes Dagon to the long-running MMO. Starting with the Blackwood Chapter, Elder Scrolls Online players will have access to a new companion system. This will let you recruit various NPCs to fight by your side, each of which will have their own backstory and upgradable skills....

The servers for Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, the brand new goofy last-man-standing title developed by Mediatonic, is still suffering from ongoing server issues. About a week ago, the video game publisher and developer Bethesda revealed that all of the proceeds for the “Take Me Home, Country Roads” cover featured in Fallout 76 will help fund the non-profit organization, Habitat for Humanity. Today, the song has officially released via iTunes, and fans can own the track while also giving their money to the charity by only having to spend a single dollar. According to the track listing on iTunes, Fallout 76’s “Take Me Home, Country Roads” cover and single was performed and recorded by COPILOT Strategic Music + Sound, which is a New York-based music content and strategy company that was launched in 2008 by Executive Producer Jason Menkes and Creative Director Ravi Krishnaswami....

So far, Sony has been secretive when it comes to the PlayStation 5’s console design, and so fans have had to come up with their own ideas. Reddit user ruddi2020 is one such fan, recently creating a very impressive, sleek PS5 console design that could pass as the real deal. ruddi2020’s PS5 console design is inspired by the PS5 dev kits that leaked some months ago, combined with the aesthetic of the DualSense controller....

Destiny’s developer, Bungie, has promised to shed more light on the next steps for Destiny tomorrow. While it’s not clear how far into the future Bungie is getting ready to preview, the developer says it will provide “an announcement and a reveal schedule” in the form of an article that will go live on the developer’s website at 9 a.m. Pacific tomorrow, March 3rd. There are a few things that Bungie could give more details about tomorrow, which fans know will be coming to Destiny at some point....
