Fall Guys is getting mid-season content in the form of a brand-new level, new variations of existing levels, crossover costumes, and more. Fall Guys teased this new Season 3.5 content a week ago, but now the release date has finally been revealed. The official Fall Guys Twitter account confirmed that the new Season 3.5 update will roll out tomorrow. The announcement tweet also revealed the new season’s official name, and it’s the most ridiculous update name that Fall Guys has used so far....

With Fallout 76 right around the corner, Bethesda is already planning ahead for the next installment of the popular post-apocalyptic franchise. According to a recent interview with GameStar, Todd Howard confirmed that Fallout 5, as well as Elder Scrolls VI and Starfield will be single-player games. Howard went on to say that Bethesda wants each game to be their own thing, so Fallout 76 may be one of the only multiplayer-driven games from Bethesda....

Blizzard has revealed that the main questline and all future content for Diablo Immortal will be free-to-play, but several gameplay mechanics appear to have all the familiar signs of being pay-to-win, or at least, paying to skip a gameplay grind. While the game is touted as free-to-play, there are several “optional in-game purchases” available, and it is not clear exactly how the game will treat these resources. Premium Currencies And The Market Diablo Immortal will feature three primary types of currency for you to collect....

As part of the new Division 2 raid, Operation Dark Hours, players will have to face with some tough bosses in four separate encounters, including Big Boomer, the Triple Threat, the Double Dogs (Buddy and Lucy), and The Razorback. To beat the Double Dogs encounter, players will want to coordinate in order to take both Buddy and Lucy, two powerful Warhounds, down. Players will want to know going into the encounter that Buddy is the healer and Lucy has the highest DPS....

John Romero, co-creator of DOOM and QUAKE, teases the announcement of a new PC first-person shooter coming next week with a Star Wars inspired video. Romero tweeted the teaser yesterday with the tagline “this is the video you are looking for.” Set in a familiar craggy landscape, and even with music reminiscent of the movies, the tease simply shows fellow co-creator Adrian Carmack approaching a hooded Romero and holding out a keyboard and mouse, calling him to action....

On an official Twitch stream this month, Doom Eternal’s creative director Hugo Martin said he’s put “a lot of thought” into possibly adding a female Slayer to the series, rather than simply offering a re-skin of the current Slayer character. “I think if we did it, I’d want it to be lethal. I think it’s interesting how it would impact the Glory Kills and the weapons that she would have. The fighting style [would] certainly [be] all aggression, absolutely, but a different type of aggression I would really strive to have it impact the gameplay in a way that was meaningful....

Dragon Age: Inquisition is a long ‘ol game. Even on a casual playthrough, speeding your way through the story is incredibly difficult, since the game requires you to complete a certain amount of side content before starting each main quest. That proved to be no challenge for speedrunner Lemuura, however. At this year’s Summer Games Done Quick, he blasted through the RPG in just 39 minutes - a feat that takes 46 hours when playing the game as intended....

Square Enix has announced a Dragon Quest stream will take place later this month to celebrate the series’ 35th anniversary. 2021 is the year of significant video game anniversaries. One birthday that may have fallen under the radar due to the sheer volume of milestones is Dragon Quest. Square Enix’s RPG series turns 35 this year, and the studio appears to have plans to celebrate that in a major way. It was announced this morning that a stream featuring news on what’s next for Dragon Quest will take place on May 26, 2021, or May 27 depending on where you are in the world....

The world’s largest video game conference continued to shock and surprise fans as iconic developer Ubisoft took the E3 2019 stage to share their latest and upcoming games. A lucky E3 2019 attendee has bagged himself a free copy of Cyberpunk 2077 for simply voicing his appreciation for Keanu Reeves’ shocking appearance at Microsoft’s briefing this past weekend. E3 has quietly deleted and reuploaded its trailer to remove a PS5 DualSense from the opening montage. Sony is skipping E3 for the third year in a row, so the controller has been removed from the array of gaming paraphernalia shown at the trailer’s opening. The trailer initially opened with a variety of hands swirling with pixels, flashing lights, and other vaguely technological imagery interacting with a variety of gaming equipment....

Despite having weaker sales than the company anticipated, the game managed to garner positive critical acclaim. The first-person runner has become a cult classic with a strong and dedicated fanbase, and has even landed on our list of games that definitely deserve a sequel. Several months ago, Microsoft announced eight original Xbox games would be included in its Xbox One backward compatibility list on April 17, 2018, with one of those titles being the 2005 action role-playing game from BioWare, Jade Empire. Now, it appears as if Electronic Arts (EA) could be looking to build on players’ renewed interest in the title by reviving it in some way, shape, or form in the future, as the publisher recently filed a trademark for the rights to the property....
