While there weren’t a lot of surprises coming out of E3 2018, one that did catch many gamers’ eyes was Fallout 76. Designed as a multiplayer title set within West Virginia, Fallout 76 will see players taking on various roles as they work to rebuild (or destroy) after the nuclear destruction. After Fallout 76’s official reveal at E3 2018, Bethesda had a lot to say about the game but the studio had yet to release all of the gameplay footage featured as part of its pre-E3 showcase....

FarmVille 2: Tropic Escape remains one of the most popular casual games on the market despite tough competition from, well, almost everything else on the App Store. The Pokemon franchise has found massive success in the trading card game market, with the Pokemon TCG proving to have incredible staying power in the industry. Pokemon’s rival franchise Digimon has had its fair share of trading card games in the past, though nothing that can match with the Pokemon TCG. Digimon’s next attempt at having a truly big trading card game was set to kick off at the end of this month, but unfortunately, plans have changed....

And just like that, Disney has finally assembled its full Avengers team on Disney+ with the addition of Spider-Man… sort of. Disney announced Wednesday that it has cut a content licensing agreement with Sony Pictures, the steward of the cinematic version of Spider-Man (Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, Shameik Moore’s Miles Morales, and all other Spider-Men going back to Tobey Maguire), to host the “Post Pay 1 Window” of all of Sony’s theatrical releases from 2022 to 2026 on Disney streaming services (Disney+ and Hulu), and Disney linear entertainment networks like ABC, Freeform, and FX....

Square Enix has announced the start date of Dissidia Final Fantasy NT’s upcoming PlayStation 4 open beta. Final Fantasy and fighting game fans alike should keep their schedules open between January 12 through January 20, when the open beta will be available in both North America and Europe. That’s over a full week for players to experience Dissidia Final Fantasy NT prior to the game’s January 30 launch. Dissidia Final Fantasy NT’s release has been a long time coming....

Before you ask, yes, demons have personalities too, you awfully judgmental mortal, you. In fact, as the Doom Slayer, you spend so much time ripping and tearing them in DOOM: Eternal that you know them all too well… inside and out. They don’t exactly communicate their personalities well but through their attack patterns and combat behavior, you get to know (or their entrails) them intimately. They do convey who they are in the demon hierarchy chain and you do get to respond to that form of communication… usually with a shotgun blast to their face....

If you had to break down the topics from yesterday’s Bethesda/Microsoft roundtable presentation, it would likely go with 20 new Bethesda games coming to Xbox Game Pass, then Spencer dropping the bomb of future exclusive titles, and then the exciting possibility of collaboration between Xbox and Bethesda studios. Microsoft made it very clear that each studio now under their umbrella would retain their distinct identities and that they consider it a good thing for everyone to come to the table to share a different viewpoint....

Developer Illfonic has announced that Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning once more to Predator: Hunting Grounds, this time as the iconic classic Dutch from the 1987 film. It seems Microsoft has once again leaked a new game’s edition through the Microsoft Store. This time the culprit is Dying Light: Platinum Edition, which is a bundle with all previously released DLC coming on May 27. The appearance of the Platinum Bundle appears to be a mistake on Microsoft’s part, as there has been no announcement or hints from Techland regarding a re-release. With the Dying Light Twitter account teasing news about Dying Light 2, it seems like the re-release was likely planned to be announced around the same time, as sources indicate Techland is about to hold an event dedicated to the franchise....
