Dungeons and Dragons is more popular now than ever before, as 5th edition did a good job finding the balance between the ease of entry of 4th edition and the complexity of 3.5 edition. Still, newcomers and old timers alike often find themselves asking the same question: why are there no dragons in this campaign? The lack of the titular creature from most D&D campaign is nothing new, and has been the subject of many jokes for quite some time, but with the right tools, Dungeon Masters can include dragons in their games much earlier than they probably think that they can....

EA has permanently banned a FIFA player who hurled racist insults at football legend Ian Wright after losing a match. Patrick O’Brien, 18, who was playing with the Ian Wright icon card in the Ultimate Team mode, sent Wright over twenty abusive messages on Instagram. The Irish teen, who was brought up on charges, was spared a conviction after he pled guilty. At sentencing, the judge said he saw no point in imposing a criminal conviction, adding that O’Brien had shown remorse by apologizing and donating 500 Euros to the Irish Network Against Racism....

The upcoming title, ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights, is the debut game for both publisher Binary Haze Interactive and developer Live Wire, and it is preparing to hit Early Access later this month. However, leading up to this, Game Rant went hands-on with some of the early levels of the Soulslike/Metroidvania styled title. These following first impressions are based on the opening two hours of gameplay, which surprisingly seemed to go by incredibly quickly as ENDER LILIES draws the player into its bleak, dark-fantasy world....

The bizarre Jester’s Festival is coming back to Elder Scrolls Online on March 25. The event will run until April 1, providing you with a chance to earn exclusive gear, take part in daily quests, and… throw pies at other players. To get started, head over to the Jester’s Festival pavilion just outside of Ebonheart (Stonefalls), Vulkhel Guard (Auridon), and Daggerfall (Glenumbra). If you’re currently far away from those locations, you can also pick up the starter quest for free in the Crown Store....

With how many games there are in the Persona series, and with Persona 6 possibly in development, there are many different party members that players will find themselves joining up with. Starting in Persona 3, however, each main game in the series has seen the appearance of an animal mascot that also joins up with the party. There isn’t much known about Persona 6 and its development compared to the rest of the Persona games, but many would probably be okay with it not having an animal mascot....

The Coronavirus pandemic has shaken the world’s economy, and the gaming industry is no exception. The pandemic has forced people to stay at home, creating a huge surge in online gaming, temporarily boosting the revenues of many companies. Video game sales also increased during the global lockdown, but for the publishing side of the gaming industry, the situation isn’t so bright. Many developers delayed their games. Social distancing took its toll and working remotely has its disadvantages, especially when it is forced and without preparation....

Among the many unnerving horror genre game trailers showcased during today’s Inside Xbox was a rather unexpected guest, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. Most are probably unfamiliar with this game, as the first installment released back in the early 2000s and wasn’t incredibly popular. That said, those that fancy themselves tabletop gamers may recognize Vampire: The Masquerade as a tabletop roleplaying system, so its transition into the world of video games is sure to be quite the treat, especially considering the premise behind the world of White Wolf’s TTRPG incarnation, World of Darkness....

In the Fallout series, raiders act as the enemies that will attack the player as they explore the wasteland. Certain raider factions are able to be talked to, such as the Fiends in Fallout New Vegas or the factions that inhabit Nuka-World in Fallout 4. By talking to characters in the wasteland, reading notes, and completing quests, the player is able to discover a few interesting details about the raiders....

At The Game Awards 2018, Obsidian Entertainment made the surprise announcement of its new game, The Outer Worlds. Many have positively commented that The Outer Worlds looks like Fallout in space and indeed, the title is being made by the studio behind Fallout: New Vegas and the creators of the original Fallout. Chris Avellone, former Obsidian dev and senior designer on Fallout: New Vegas, responded to the news on Twitter saying that he thinks that the two Fallout-related screens in The Outer Worlds trailer are more than just a shoutout to that franchise’s fan community....

Fallout 4 is easily the most anticipated game in the packed lineup of releases coming this holiday season. And with so much to do in the post-apocalyptic sequel, it’s likely players will be engrossed in the game’s story and action for many months to come. Despite the fact that Fallout 4 will be a massive game, with plenty for players to do and explore, developer Bethesda is planning to release expansions for the game starting next year....

YouTube channel ArcadeCloud releases a parody music video of Adele’s 2015 hit ‘Hello’, with the lyrics recalling the emotional events of Bethesda’s Fallout 4. When the bombs dropped in the world of Fallout 4, society was knee deep into music like “Anything Goes” by Cole Porter and “Atom Bomb Baby” by J.F. Young. These musical tendencies are reflected in the various songs that are played by the radio stations in the Boston Commonwealth, but what if Adele’s ultra popular hit “Hello” was written by a character living in the post-apocalyptic wasteland?...

Fans think that Bugsnax, which was announced at the PS5 reveal event, is secretly a terrifying horror game. The Bugsnax trailer was incredibly cute and featured a song about finding different bugs to eat, but it may be hiding something more insidious. Officially, Bugsnax is a “whimsical adventure game” being developed by Young Horses, the team which made the also-very-delightful game Octodad: Dadliest Catch. However, quite a few people on Twitter seem to think that the game could be one of the biggest horror games of the year....

This Fargo review contains spoilers. Fargo Season 3 Episode 7 Ray’s shocking accidental death last week created a wave that rocked all of our central characters this week, but somehow “The Law of Inevitability” feels fairly light in content. My notes, usually a sprawling list of plot beats and standout lines, are only a few bullet points long. The fallout from Ray’s demise spelled fear, confusion, and trouble for almost everyone, but that leaves our characters plotting their next moves rather than keeping the action going....

While most fans have to wait a few more days before getting their hands on Mortal Kombat X, a few lucky individuals are already playing the hotly anticipated fighter. There are critics, who need the game early to make sure their reviews are ready on release day; there are those lucky players whose local game retailers sold the game early; and then there’s a whole other class of gamers, who didn’t just play Mortal Kombat X, but actually got paid to do so....

Blizzard and Vicarious Visions have revealed how Diablo 2 Resurrected has been improved based on player feedback. The developers explained that they used player input during early alpha testing to enhance visual quality, as well as offer a variety of customizable accessibility options. According to a blog post on the Blizzard website, Diablo 2 Resurrected will introduce several features designed to make the game easier to play, without impacting core gameplay....

For some fans, the arrival of young Luke Skywalker in the eighth episode of The Mandalorian’s second season signaled a coming together of young and old. Just when it looked like the Empire might have finally stolen young Grogu from Mando, Skywalker came to the rescue, showing off a full array of Jedi powers only hinted at in the movies. But for others, the scene signaled a turn to the dark side of modern filmmaking....

Moana is one of my top favorite Disney movies. The songs, action scenes, lessons, and setting just hit everything I desired in a Disney film. We get a princess with no prince mixed in. Frozen tried to do that, but still had a love interest. Unlike a ton of Disney princess flicks, Moana is a story of self-discovery, not romantic love. We even get a princess with a realistic body: somebody short and not hour-glass shaped....

Players go back to Ubisoft’s Division 2 as Agents called in response to a smallpox attack in Washington, D.C. These Agents, all part of the fictional Strategic Homeland Division, have to help rebuild the city. Unfortunately, various factions and rogue elements threaten Agents, the Division, and the success of their mission. Thankfully, Agents don’t just have the full arsenal of the SHD. In fact, they also have access to specializations and weapons that diversify their skillset....

The Destiny 2 Warmind expansion release is around the corner,as it will finally be rolling out on Tuesday, May 8th. Bungie has warned players that the Destiny 2 servers will be completely offline on Tuesday from 6:00 am to 11:00 am Pacific time while the Warmind release, update 1.2.0 and hotfix 1.2.0.1, will be implemented, and this might cause players to lose their existing Milestone and ritual rewards in the game....
