Star Wars: Squadrons is sounding more and more like it’s going to have the flight complexity of Elite Dangerous with the latest pilot briefing from EA. According to the publisher, the level of customization that you will have with your ship is going to dramatically alter the way that you play the game, as well as how it will all look in the end. Much like Elite Dangerous, you will have a limited number of what they are calling component slots—seven of them, to be specific....

Following an incident of toxic behavior in a recent ranked game, LPL team EDward Gaming, or EDG, will be fining top laner Zhao “Aodi” Ao-Di. Aodi may also be facing further disciplinary measures from the LPL, the Chinese top-level professional league for League of Legends. An announcement regarding Aodi’s penalties come from a post made to EDG’s Weibo account, which was then translated by Kevin Kim, of Korizon Esports. According to their statement, EDG will be deducting Aodi’s salary for the month, including any potential bonuses....

Electronic Arts has released the line-up of games that the publisher plans on showing during E3 2017, omitting at least two likely as-yet unannounced projects. Six games or franchises were featured in EA’s line-up, all of which have previously been confirmed for E3 2017: Battlefront 2, Need For Speed: Payback, Battlefield 1, FIFA, Madden, and NBA Live. Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is shaping up to capture the nostalgia that classic Crash Bandicoot games are known for during the height of the franchise. Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout has been a huge hit since its open beta release on Steam, but now that it’s been fully released for console as well, folks have noticed the lack of controller options. Originally announced at E3 in 2019, Fall Guys is a bright and colorful competitive game inspired by obstacle racing TV games like Wipeout and Ninja Warrior. One Fallout 4 player and dedicated science fiction fan uses assets from Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG to create a giant battle in the vein of Star Wars. The YouTuber, modder, and Fallout 4 player known as Cosmic Contrarian is back again to bring yet another large-scale battle to the Boston Commonwealth.
