Showtime has ordered a limited series revival of Dexter with Michael C. Hall set to reprise his role as the title serial killer. Original showrunner Clyde Phillips will reunite with Hall for the 10-episode limited series after having stepped away from the show following the fourth season. Dexter centered on the titular blood-spatter analyst’s complicated life working for the Miami police department while moonlighting a serial killer. Using the skills he learned from his adoptive father, a retired police officer, and his resources at the MPD, Dexter hunts for victims while adhering to a strict code of only murdering people who have slipped through the cracks of the legal system and are likely to harm others again....
