While it was already assumed that, given the territory Battlefield 3 is treading, that the title would be rated “M” for Mature, many didn’t know quite how mature that experience would get. As it turns out there might be a particularly polarizing sequence in the game, not unlike those seen in Call of Duty, which involves soldiers not exactly “doing the right thing.” We, of course don’t want to get into spoiler territory for those that choose to avoid it, but DICE has come out to talk a little bit about this sequence, and how it contradicts one of their earlier statements made about Battlefield 3....

Earlier this morning both Microsoft and EA announced the inclusion of EA Play to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate at no additional cost, to subscribers of the service. The announcement brings games currently available on EA’s game service over to the Microsoft service without a subscription required to EA Play on both PC and console. EA and Microsoft celebrated the announcement with a very tongue-in-check Twitter exchange. Both companies are preparing for next gen with the launch of next gen consoles only a couple of months away, so the announcement of EA and Microsoft partnering up is only good news for fans of both companies....

Well, it happened. After making its way through the “Worst Company in America” bracket for the second time in a row, Electronic Arts has been awarded with the dubious distinction. This time, however, the award comes hot off the heels of a public response from EA’s Peter Moore — a response that was quite baffling. Nevertheless, gamers can now officially call Electronic Arts the worst company in America. Their somewhat shady day-one DLC practices, their failure to deliver on the promises of Mass Effect 3, and an all-around general ineptitude when it comes to game development (read: making Dead Space 3 more action focused) are definitely the greater sins when compared to the likes of Bank of America....

Resident Evil 8, or Resident Evil: Village, has been in development for several years, with Capcom recently releasing a trailer to give some context for the next project. The minds behind the battle royale game revealed that the theme for the upcoming season will be the future, and it has been named Fall Guys 4041....

The 2020 hit indie game Fall Guys continues to keep players falling and stumbling into 2021 as Season 3 is currently active. Despite the fact that it’s been almost 2 years since Fallout 4 first came out, people are still discovering new things all the time. All versions of Fallout 4, the forthcoming entry in Bethesda’s popular post-apocalyptic franchise, will support pre-loading once the materials become available. Although the exact date and time has not been announced, Bethesda’s Vice President of Marketing and PR, Pete Hines, has taken to his official Twitter account to confirm the existence of pre-loading for all versions of Fallout 4, which includes PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. FaZe Clan has officially stepped into the competitive VALORANT scene, the California-based esports organization revealed today. The organization announced former professional CS:GO player and streamer Jason “JasonR” Ruchelski and former Overwatch League star Corey “Corey” Nigra as the team’s first two members. Jason “JasonR” Ruchelski rose to prominence in CS:GO, eventually signing with Splyce in December of 2015.
