With the Fallout 76 Wastelanders update coming on April 14, many are no doubt wondering whether to grab themselves a copy of the game so they can join in on the major overhaul coming to the title. Wastelanders will look to finally add NPCs to the divisive multiplayer game - adhering to a major criticism often held by fans - alongside a number of new quests and other updates.

Yet, fans who already own the game on Bethesda.net before launch will also get another major goody, with the title’s Steam version being available to prior owners of Fallout 76 for free. All they have to do is connect their Bethesda account to their Steam account before the game releases on the latter on April 14. This also means that players who want to take advantage of the deal can grab the game on Bethesda.net now, and they too will get their free Steam copy.

Bethesda has clarified that Atoms and first memberships won’t crossover between each platform, however, items acquired in the game’s shop will, meaning those playing on Bethesda.net and Steam can continue using shop-bought products across both platforms.

Alongside this offer, it seems anyone who picks up a Steam copy of Fallout 76 between April 14 - 28 will also get the Fallout Classic Collection for free. This includes the original two Fallout games and Fallout Tactics, with the deal also applying to Bethesda.net users who have obtained their free Steam version of the game. Anyone looking to take advantage of these incredible deals should pick up the game as soon as possible.

Fallout 76 is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
