The release of Fallout 4’s Contraptions Workshop today leads to some players using the DLC’s assets to commit unsavory acts of torture against the game’s companions.

No doubt once Fallout 4’s Contraptions Workshop DLC was revealed during Bethesda’s E3 2016 press conference last week, the gears started turning in the the post-apocalyptic RPG’s fans’ heads as they immediately began dreaming up wildly fantastical structures and devices to improve their settlements. However, now that the Contraptions Workshop has officially released today as the game’s first instance of DLC for the summer of 2016, some players are using the game’s add-on for much more nefarious purposes, such as torturing some of the open world title’s companions.

Take for instance the YouTuber who goes by the name of Father, whose name could actually be interpreted as subtle, yet direct reference to the dad of Fallout 4’s protagonist the Sole Survivor—that is, if the user’s profile picture on the video sharing site is any indication. At any rate, the YouTuber captured non-playable characters (NPCs) like Preston Garvey and Mama Murphy in pillories, and then went on to construct a device to perpetually launch teddy bears directly at their faces.

As seen in the top video below at around the 2 minute mark, Father constructs the pillories for Fallout 4’s NPCs, and it seems as if they willingly accept their fate of being locked up for an indefinite period of time. Perhaps the most hilarious thing about the whole situation, though, is that almost immediately after being freed from the contraption, Preston Garvey immediately asks if the Sole Survivor’s ready to take back a specific settlement.
