Fallout is a series that offers a lot of cool tattoo ideas. There are a lot of memorable designs in the characters, factions, food, locations, and creatures. After all, it is a series with a lot of personality and charm.

If you are thinking of getting a Fallout tattoo, maybe this list can give you some ideas. Here are ten Fallout tattoos that fans have gotten. Be sure to check out the lists to the talented tattoo artists, as they deserve credit for their work.

10 Codsworth

From Fallout 4, Codsworth is one of the companions you can get early on in the game. He basically worked as your butler before the bombs fell, so he is an old friend.

This beautiful upper arm tattoo has Codsworth in a radiation storm. The detail put into the reflection of Boston on his metal robot body is amazing. Interestingly enough, this tattoo was made in Boston! It was done by Josh Wallis at Fat Ram’s Pumpkin Tattoo. His other tattoos include Star Wars, animals, and art nouveau styles.

9 Deathclaw

Deathclaws are one of, if not the most, frightening creatures the Fallout series has to offer. They live up to their name, killing wastelanders with their incredibly long claws.

This deathclaw tattoo actually gives the creature some beauty and elegance. The tattoo was made by Moscow based neotraditional artist, Andrey Strychnine. He works with themes of skulls, lanterns, and more with a lot of warm and rustic colors.

8 “War Never Changes”

“War never changes” is the major quote of the Fallout series. The quote can mean different things for different fans, but the common idea is that war will always have the same sociological consequences. People are hurt, society adapts, scars are made, and a lot is sacrificed.

This tattoo took the quote and the iconic Brotherhood of Steel helmet and gave it a feminine style with pink flowers. The tattoo was done by craigiswr, who has also done tattoos involving flowers, animals, and more.

7 The Mysterious Stranger

The Mysterious Stranger is one of the most fun perks of Fallout 3, New Vegas, and Fallout 4. With the perk, a character just known as the “Mysterious Stranger” has a random chance of appearing in battle and killing your opponent.

The tattoo was made by Peter Toatley from Rhode Island.

6 Fallout Meets Minecraft

Some gamers like to get a tattoo crossover of their favorite titles. This upper arm piece combines both the Vault Boy from Fallout with the style of Minecraft. The games are incredibly different, as Minecraft does not really have a story like Fallout does. However, anything can apply to Minecraft’s box-like style.

The tattoo was made by Frank Miller from Ohio.

5  Brotherhood Soldier

The Brotherhood of Steel has been around since the early Fallout games. Their armor is often in the game cover art, so it is a very recognizable Fallout design if you want a non-subtle tattoo. However, they usually sport laser rifles. The weapon this one has is a little unusual, but very cool.

The artist is Victor Zetall from Spain. He is most talented at character portraits and has done other video game tattoos such as Kratos from God of War.

4 ED-E

ED-E is like the Cogsworth of Fallout: New Vegas. It is a robot companion that you can get early on in the game. Unlike Codsworth though, it doesn’t speak and instead makes cute little beep noises. This tattoo also has the classic Nuka Cola bottle caps!

The artist is the same person who did the Brotherhood solider tattoo design, Victor Zetall.

3 Bombed City

The plot of Fallout is all based around the fact that the United States has been completely nuked from a war with China. Hence the vaults, where Americans hide from the bombs and are some of the only survivors that did not undergo radiation poisoning.

This tattoo was done by Erick Mendivil at The Ink Parlor from Kansas City, Missouri.

2 Pip-Boy

Pip-Boys are a creative piece of technology from the Fallout series that work as your menu where you keep track of your stats, items, and quests. They are basically computers that you can wear on your arm. With that in mind, this tattoo is a pretty creative arm piece idea. It could certainly make cosplaying a Fallout character easier.

The art was made by Joe Kennett from Austin, Texas. Other work he has done includes themes on space, Halloween, Star Wars, sea creatures, and more.

1 Rex

So many fans love Dogmeat that they forget about the cyborg dog, Rex, from Fallout: New Vegas. He is a dog that has a brain in a case. He is given to you by The King from the Elvis-inspired faction, The Kings.

The artist is Mike Boyd who is quite talented at abstract tattoos and cubism. His work is very colorful and creative, so check out his profile on Instagram.
